Its Ok , I can still reserve Samba grill in the cruise planner for my April Cruise post upgrade ... so I would not count on anything you see currently on site , after all the page is created with  highly RC IT involvement  ...

Well apparently I jumped into conclusions as it seems to be Samba gril is there to stay

Well, considering that it is in the solarium bistro, there wasn't much reason to get rid of it unless it did poorly. Samba Grill isn't a standalone restaurant.

Yes, the pesky parrot is replacing the champagne bar. Allure never had the bionic bar. If the amplification would have happened during the year 2020 that was originally planned, they would probably have replaced the champagne bar with the bionic bar. Now the bionic bar is considered antique and therefor pesky parrot is replacing the champagne bar.

If you go to Royal's own website they now have the updated deck plan for Allure of the Seas and it shows bionic bar is gone and pesky parrot will replace it.

I'm happy they are finally moving on from that one and done bar. You go there once and never need to go back to it again.

Allure never had Bionic Bar.

So to be clear allure never had the bionic bar ?😜 so was the champagne bar where bionic bar is on other oasis class ships ? I ask cause I’ve never sailed allure.

Correct. I have been on Allure 3x, beautiful champagne bar with big chairs that were great for photos. Original plan showed bionic bar for 2020 amp, thankfully allure won't suffer.

Right after the pandemic on a Symphony B2B sailing, I had the opportunity to have a friendly conversation with the F & B Director for the Specialty restaurants and learned that the Bionic Bar is a pain in the backside for the ships. He mentioned the robotics often have mechanical issues which cause it to malfunction and there are times when the issues can't be fixed until they get back to their debarkation port.

It only makes sense to have a fun venue with human bartenders rather than a malfunctioning machine which takes up valuable space on a cruise ship.

Agreed. When I was on Ovation, one of the arms only worked for a couple of days, which led to a long line or people not using it. So seemed kind of pointless.

On Wonder last week, both arms worked but it's really a one and done kind of bar. You do it once, enjoy the spectacle, then move on to another bar that can make different drinks. It didn't seem to have much of a crowd other than the seats being used occasionally since it was on the promenade. A different bar without the robots would probably do better.

I wonder if they will be swapping out the Bionic Bars onboard other ships with the Pesky Parrot when they go in for their routine 5 year maintenance updates.  🤔

I suspect there's a good chance of that occurring, especially given the positive guest response to Pesky Parrot

I can't wait for the Apollo 18 Escape Room. Having worked at Kennedy Space Center for many years, I think it will be fun.

I'm sure it will just as great as the "Apollo 18: Mission Control" escape room on Oasis. Our first escape room experience and we had a blast (pun intended)! 😆

Just barely completed it with 2 minutes, 1 second remaining on the countdown clock!
