rjweber3
Lost our England Ireland to COVID. Rescheduled for 2021 for a 12 night on basically the same itinerary on Reflection from Amsterdam using FCC. Added a stop for Paris. We are not enthused about that one because we lived in Europe in the 1980s. Paris was not favorite place. But...OK.
KathyC
We're looking at something in 2021, not sure what yet. I have a B2B on Royal in October 2021 that I will most likely be canceling, not loving the price. It needs to come down, but I'm going to let Royal hold my deposits for awhile, they have enough to deal with right now, and I'm not getting my refunds any quicker if I cancel now or a month from now. I'm looking forward to sailing Celebrity soon!

JLMoran
You might want to move your Oasis and Allure booking notes over to the "When your Next Cruise" thread, over on the People Connect forum. That way @Lovetocruise2002 will record in the Master List. Now that the EU has clamped down on tourism from the states, will be interesting to see if Apex stays with the med itinerary, or is redeployed to Carribean early. Bunch of what-ifs - we're all guessing right now. But as no one can cruise, what other diversions are there? Al Horner

Al Horner
Well, I had to cancel our 11/21 Apex cruise due to health issues. I will say this, I know Celebrity is owned by the Royal Caribbean Group, but I have NEVER had the problems with Royal Caribbean that I have had with Celebrity. Now I know why they're really pushing the FCCs because I would not have booked another Celebrity cruise if I wasn't going to lose a bunch of money by not using the FCCs. Trying to get them to acknowledge that I even had FCCs, tried to do a lift and shift (that was another nightmare) and then book another cruise for July 2021on the Equinox and then get those FCCs applied to that cruise, well, I was lied to, hung up on, put on hold for 41 minutes, dealt with numerous folks who clearly did not know their jobs and then FINALLY, I got to deal with this one guy (Nolan) working from home and he knew how to make the system work and suddenly, I've booked a cruise and got the FCCs applied to it. I just hope the cruise is a lot better than most of their telephone booking people. KathyC, JLMoran and cruisellama

I’ve had very hit and miss experience with their call centers, especially the casino staff, but I’ve also had those with Royal recently as untrained reps take over for those that have been furloughed. cruisellama

Andrew72681
I’m officially out of the celebrity club. Cancelled our thanksgiving Apex sailing this afternoon. Didn’t seem worth the waiting period to make final payment on something I’m pretty sure isn’t going anywhere. They’ve said when cruising resumes it would be shorter cruises and would focus on private islands/destinations. This one doesn’t fit either category, so I bailed before they could cancel it. Apex is just meandering off the coast of the ship yard. 2020 is done - probably some short cruises to get a few ships spun up in Q1 of '21. Kept our Edge reservation - expect FCC bonus and will put against one next year. Lack of progress is frustrating.

Our trip was a casino comp through a service, so the only FCC would have been in my 10 year old daughters name, which we know would get convoluted. Also, too much on the cruise schedule so couldn’t fit another in for 2021.

cruisellama
Even if it were to start in Nov/Dec, can't imagine all the original port calls can be met. Do not think all the original ports will be open to tourists. Guessing any itinerary will be greatly abbreviated. At this point, completed payment process for the FCC. It will be used.
