Thanks to both of you! excellent advice! Exactly things I wanted to know. One question... Does the Odyssey have a suite sundeck?

Hi all, I'm planning a cruise for November/December 2025. The Odyssey has my attention. Cruise is 11 days out of Cape Liberty. I've never cruised out of Cape Liberty and I've never cruised on this class of ship so I know next to nothing about either. Cabin would be 8722 which is an aft-facing Grand Loft Suite, a Star class cabin. I have done Star class on Oasis class ships a few times so familiar with that. Any thoughts on cruising out of Cape Liberty, the Odyssey, or the cabin? I will say it looks like it's a longer trek to the elevators than it was for us on Harmony/Oasis to the elevators from the 2BR ATS!

Nachi Cocum for sure. I've always had good food and good service there.

Cozumel- Tulum for your adventurous side. Mr Sanchos or Nachi Cocum for your laid back side! Costa Maya- Maya Chan is our go to! If that falls thru several places at the Malecon. We always pick The Tropicante!

Y'all see anything wrong with just a couple booking a 2BR ATS? I like the location and I like it because it's Star class. Any possibility of Royal moving us elsewhere because there will only be two in the cabin at some point? THANKS!

You know....I. had a TA with my first cruise in 2007...Carnival Holiday! LOL! Local company. I wasn't thrilled about it the moment I booked thru them and liked it even less right up to the cruise. I made up my mind to learn everything I could about cruises/cruising via the Internet and do everything myself. That's exactly what I've done. I actually enjoy doing it myself and I know things are being done correctly. I can't see me ever going back to a TA.

So these Coco Cay cabanas show unavailable and become available all the time. Folks seem to be in a constant state of "plan changing" right now. So on two different sailings I've been able to get the cabana I wanted even though it was unavailable at first and for a while. I booked what cabana WAS available so we would have SOMETHING. So finally the "Coco Beach Club- Beach Cabana and Full Day Pass" showed up. I reserved IT and cancelled the other. Keep checking....it doesn't hurt to check every day.

I think Mr Sanchos at Cozumel would be an excellent choice. Just take a cab there and back. BTW....I never used the ferry to Playa de carmen but one time and and was to go to Tulum. The vast majority of Cozumel excursions can be reached via taxi.

YES we have done this! I thought the facilities and service was excellent. The price is for two and includes everything. You are well fed and plenty of drinks starting with a bottle of sparkling wine when you arrive. The water is more or less bay water and isn't as clear as the water at West Bay. Not really idea for snorkeling but my understanding is they will take you to a better area via kayak. We had a few issues with "no-see-ums" so insects repellent is probably in order but that could be for anywhere in Roatan. For me it's being familiar with the current going rate, check frequency, and then be prepared to JUMP on it once you see the good deal!

So yeah, I made the switch! In. the majority of ways I came out pretty good! The cabin has shown available one day and not the next over several days. Last night available this am, not. Been like that several days! So I just called to settle this one way or the other. YES, 10330 IS available! Also, funny how pricing goes....I ALWAYS call RCI to see who has the best price vs internet. About $500 less with the phone call. I was expecting a difference somewhere around $2000. Actually it was $1383. The speciality dining and drink packages I had bought for the Harmony was $1273 which was only one night at Jamie's. NOW I get to have specially dining every night. As far as pricing goes, I kinda won! The Coco Beach Club Cabana I had booked with the Harmony was no longer available which was kinda blah....but I did reserve the Chill Island Cabana...should be pretty good! Thanks for everyones help! Of course this will be my first Star Class experience. I've usually been in a GS or OS so really looking forward to this! Thanks again!

Thanks a lot for the replies and opinions.. For sure it looks like the 2BR ATS is the hands down favorite. I'm gonna work on making the swap provided the cabana I want is available on Coco Cay.

So I've had a 2BR GS on Harmony booked for a while. I've been looking for a 2BR Aqua Theater suite on Harmony.... I don't think it's going to happen and if one DID become available it could very well be more than I want to pay but I have no idea what it would be. A 2BR Aqua Theater suite HAS become available on Oasis. By the time I add specialty dining and drink packages...it's not THAT much more than the 2BR GS on Harmony. While the 2BR GS balcony isn't too shabby of course there is no comparison to the balcony with the Aqua Theater suite. From the videos I've seen...the Harmony 2BR GS actually looks to be nicer on the inside. Probably an age of ship thing? I've been on Oasis, not on Harmony. Harmony sails out of Port Canaveral.....Oasis, Miami. Same exact ports of call. Which would YOU pick?

Would y'all do a 1:10PM flight out of MCO coming from Port Canaveral? I haven't cruised out of Port Canaveral since Spring 2019 so I'm a little wishy washy thinking this might be a little too early. Would be getting off Harmony. Oasis took a little longer getting off than I was used to last time I was there. Thanks!

I usually do a shuttle/bus from Port Canaveral to MCO thru Royal Caribbean and they are usually listed as an excursion. Currently there are no excursions listed for Port Canaveral for my Harmony sailing date, March 27, 2022. Anyone know if this WILL become available closer to sailing date or is this something no longer offered by Royal Caribbean? Also....Is luggage valet still offered? THANKS!

One of the best excursions I've ever been on was Thenford Grey in St Kitts. Grand Tour of St Kitts is the one. Excellent excursion and highly recommended!

I'm not sure one can beat Mr Sancho's or Nachi Cocom in Cozumel or The Tropicante(at the Malecon) and Maya Chan in Costa Maya.

My preference is Marriott Biscayne Bay, Intercontinental, and Holiday Inn Port of Miami. I've Ubered/shuttled from Hollywood/Ft Lauderdale just as often though.
