Shay Posted January 7, 2022 Report Posted January 7, 2022 I'm on a Feb sailing and I'm just wondering. For about 2weeks my Feb 11 sailing on Anthem was missing from the website, but now it's back. There seems to be A LOT of available rooms, especially suites. Just curious if RC would cancel if passenger counts are too low. MamaShark 1 Quote
dee02554 Posted January 7, 2022 Report Posted January 7, 2022 No you all will get Royal up offers and they will resell the lower cabins Quote
teddy Posted January 7, 2022 Report Posted January 7, 2022 I can’t see how it could get much lower than it was on Adventure out of Nassau. I feel the count would have to rock bottom for them to cancel. Quote

KJones Posted January 7, 2022 Report Posted January 7, 2022 I would imagine RC would lose money by canceling. They're still on the hook for staff wages, with no chance for extra income from onboard purchases. Plus they would have to refund all the fares already paid. CruiseGus 1 Quote

Maybe you can do something similar? CruiseHabit.com has a group cruise tomorrow leaving on Celebrity APEX out of Ft. Lauderdale. If you're already down there for the week anyways and can have the ability to pay upfront another cruise, might as well! SpeedNoodles 1 Quote
Linda R Posted January 7, 2022 Report Posted January 7, 2022 I have a friend who went on a Princess cruise and the passenger count was only 250! SpeedNoodles, Shay and WAAAYTOOO 3 Quote
