Something caught my eye on differences between the aft on other Q class.
This seems to confirm that the Windjammer will be fully enclosed with no aft outdoor seating (like Spectrum).
It also shows a space that appears to be a lounge ( Suite or Concierge Club) on deck 13 aft unlike any of her sisters.  

The two story loft suites are on deck 8 and 9.
Deck 10 single story cabins.
Deck 11 single story cabins.
Deck 12 single story cabins.
Deck 13 lounge space.
Deck 14 Windjammer.
I have mixed feeling on this as I really like the outdoor seating behind the Windjammer.  Even in Alaska I enjoyed several meals out there on Ovation.  At the same time more interior air conditioned seating for the Windjammer is always a good thing.

Disclaimer:  I am always wrong in the market - so don't listen to anything I say.  But, I really doubt any of the big 3 Cruise companies will go out of business.  This will hurt for sure, but if you can buy RCL under $20 and CCL & NCLH for under $10 I think those are really good deals.

Voice tech is fiddly and frustrating with general-use cases, never mind specific ones like you mention. Lost track of how many times I've asked Alexa what the overnight low is supposed to be, and I get some weird dictionary definition instead of the temperature forecast. I think this kind of feature, while cool, would end up disregarded by most passengers.
I'm assuming with auto-open / close doors, you mean the kind with a motion sensor (like the exit to the pool deck), rather than a button next to the door like they have on the bathrooms. I would guess that there are regulatory, privacy, or other reasons (HVAC conservation?) that they still use the push-button you can hit with the side or back of your wrist.
Speaking of regulatory problems, I don't think they can legally force someone to buy travel insurance. Exhibit A is the Affordable Care Act, which included an insurance mandate; the Supreme Court recently called the mandate unconstitutional (a little more complex than this, but that's the end result). If the ACA, an act of federal legislation, couldn't legally include a mandate that people buy insurance, you can bet a cruise company will be sued out of doing it as well. And that's just here in the US. No idea what international law would say about that.

There's no Diamond discount for purchasing the drink package onboard.   You are better off purchasing it in advance through the Cruise Planner if you truly want it or just paying per drink during the day and taking advantage of the Diamond Happy Hour and Diamond lounge drinks in the evening.  You could also consider splitting the difference with the refreshment package which gives you everything but the alcohol and you can pay for a shot or two to add to your drinks during the day and then indulge during Happy Hour.

Unfortunately, no.  The prices in this generic drink menu are subject to an additional 18% gratuity.

The "virtual" Quantum CA itineraries are currently a combination of 3 and 4 night.  Much like Carnival's west coast 3/4 itineraries, the 3 night does Ensenada while the 4 night does Catalina and Ensenada.

From what we understand, the photo package only covers photos of people in your room.  If you have family or friends in the photo who are not in your room in the picture...It must be purchased separately.   I'm sure someone can correct us if we are mistaken.  But you may also be able to work a deal for the event photos.

Gotta be a glitch..will they honor or compensate it is the real question here......
 
As much as I am excited for the specialty restaurants..I really wish it had been the drink package...lol....but I wont complain and I will keep checking as well!
