Turn it off and lock it in the safe until you get back to the home port. Don't use it at all on the ship.

I hope they change the negative result test 2 days before cruise.

I haven't checked the cost difference, but the ones Royal sells came within about four days and was pretty easy.

If/when a line change policies due to Omicron, feel free to start a thread. But we're not here to discuss Covid outside of the cruise industry.

But the major news outlets will be saying that she damn near sunk, with millions of passengers onboard.

Today marks the 35th Anniversary of our first Cruise and our 38th wedding anniversary.  We have taken many cruises since 1986 (30) and thus far my wife has not thrown me overboard.  Hopefully we can be healthy enough to take many more!   Happy Anniversary dear wife (Kelley).  All my love and happy sailing.

Wow!! What a great time we had on Allure of the Seas last week. Got tested for CoVid on the 20th, that was a bit of a nervous time, but all 6 of us tested negative. The embarkation process was very simple and quick. We had the 1:00 check in time and we were on the ship by 1:20! Our cruise director, Marc Walker (Amazing) said that the passenger count was a bit under 1600!
I am so impressed with the health protocols Royal has in place. Every where we looked sanitizing and cleaning were going on. The Wind Jammer was great with the crew serving the food. I am really hoping that this is something that will stay as I hate people grabbing so much food and not eating it and making a mess of everything, not to mention touching all the serving utensils. 
The main dinning room as usual was excellent and again the above and beyond cleaning of tables. Everyone working the dining room were so grateful for us to be there and we let them know how grateful we were to be there and to be with them .
Everyone on the ship went above and beyond to make the cruise a great experience. We certainly felt much safer on the ship than we did on land. Even though everyone on the ship was vaccinated (except for kids 12 and under) and all tested negative, the mask mandate was in place as were vaccinated venues. I really did not mind wearing the mask as it was only on to get from the cabin to the next point, or while we were shopping on the Royal Promenade. 
All of us made sure that we showed our support for all the entertainers by clapping and hollering as loud as we could at each of the shows. Mamma Mia was so much fun!! The diving and ice skating show, as always, were top notch!!
I would have to give our time on Allure 10 out of 10!
Oh, and while on board my wife and I booked our next cruise on Harmony for next September.

Just got home from the Allure of the seas Aug 22, 2021 cruise. So first I have to say, that I felt safer on the ship then I do at my work(I work in a hospital). Everywhere you look and turn are hand sanitizing stations and hand washing stations. They clean your stateroom twice a day, all theaters are fogged after each show, masks are required for everyone indoors and pools and hot tubs have a capacity limit as well as elevators which are also cleaned ALL DAY LONG! The care that is put into making sure we are safe is above no other. The buffet was weird to not serve yourself but was still kind of normal feeling (as much as it could be), you cant even get your own drinks for the refillable cups, they have someone there at all times to serve you. we were at about 30% capacity (1684 passengers and 1800 staff). We have already booked for our next cruise to cozumel in March 2022. We did have to present our negative covid test and vaccine record 3 times prior to boarding the ship but we gladly did so. We have no doubt Royal is going way above what the CDC says they need to do.

In Costa Maya, we really enjoyed Chacchoben (take insect repellant), and we've also just hung out at the local village.

The port restrictions for Cozumel and Costa Maya were last minute changes. When we got to our cabin aboard Equinox, there was a letter on the bed with the port restrictions limiting entry to cruise ship sponsored tours only. To my knowledge, this is a Mexican Public Health Department outcome. Quintana Roo had been yellow coded up until April when it moved to orange in May and then Red sometime in June. That restricted the ports of Cozumel and Costa Maya.
My take is that Celebrity waited until the last minute hoping for those restrictions to be dropped. Didn't happen. I've posted elsewhere that itineraries and port openings and closings are changing almost on a weekly basis. All Caribbean ports have some type of COVID protocol in place, e.g., restricted shore excursions, masking indoors and outdoors. Most of them require vaccination to enter even for ship's tours. You're advised to carry your vax card and at Nassau, ships' security checked your vax card before letting you off the ship for your ship's sponsored tours. Under 12s and unvaxed have to go on ship's tours. If vaccinated, adults can go on their own in some ports.
Caribbean governments and the Mexican government are being very tough on travelers. The reason for that is that in Mexico, vax rates are low and viral prevalence is high. In the Caribbean, vax rates are also low but viral prevalence is low too and these governments want to keep it that way. That is because their health care systems would be easily overwhelmed with a surge of new cases.
All I can tell you is be prepared for changes to your itineraries based on the COVID situation in each port. you may be visiting. Celebrity has done a great job keeping guests informed but at times, last minute changes happen. We had one of those at St. Lucia. We were expecting only tours from the ship but at the last minute everyone could explore on their own.
