I get to wear funny t-shirts 7 days a week instead of 2. Also, I think my job will be more open to flexibility with telework - they already were pretty flexible, but i think if I asked to work part time from home in the future, they wouldn't blink. We got 2 puppies right at the beginning of this, and I'd like to be able to keep up with their potty training by being here more.

I get that a lot of people find their "deal breaker" to be having to wear masks, but I just hope if people decide to sail, they'll do as they're told and won't try to push back against RCCL's requirements. That's the thing that worries me -- people deciding mid-cruise is suddenly a time to take a stand or something. THAT would ruin my cruise more than anything. Make up your mind before you get on board, please.

Only way we’ll cancel is if a quarantine is required when we come back home.

You have to look at from a standpoint of risk. We use third party insurers and find a rate that covers what we find to be most important. For example, we typically cruise from Galveston, about a 40 minute drive. So I don't need insurance that covers flights, hotels, rental cars, etc... But when I travel with 4 mini crazy people I live with, accidents and injuries are a possibility. So I focus on a policy that covers heavy on the medical,  less on the cost recuperation  or lost baggage. This would change if we were to travel to another port, we would look at a different level of coverage. Booking 3rd party lets me pick and choose better what coverage I want with all the variables attached. And it's cheaper the than the version the cruiselines typically offer.

I would be more concerned about the touch pad and the drink selection. Put a washy-washy right next to it, good to go.

Joe, I agree 100 percent with your choice. My second choice is, so long as it isn't empty, whatever is in my glass at the time.

Eh, just tell the teachers they’ve learned to work from anywhere. We’ll save them some pool chairs while they get their homework done.
Also, any school system that begrudges a vacation after things get back to normal needs a reality check, so many kids have had their lives put on hold while still forming personalities. We all became who we are from bouncing things off of groups in school.

My favorite margarita is the specialty in Boleros called the Granrita.  (I think that is the name)  It is a traditional margarita with Patron, but they add in Gran Marnier too.  The Gran Marnier just makes the drink soooo much smother going down.

I don’t think you can expect the drink package to be any lower than $34 PP/PD.  That’s pretty low !

The CWC fine print says you can not use the FCC to rebook the same itinerary that the FCC was “earned” from, you can however pay cash for the lower fare now and use the FCC in the future.
Unfortunately I believe it’s all academic as this cruise will not take place.

This was my thought as well..this sale will generate some short-term immediate cash.  I think the return policy always stated it could take up to 30 days to see the refund of a cruise planner purchase, even before the current situation.  However it never took that long for me in the past.

Wouldn't you know it...i was fortunate to get the intern rate for our Sept sailing, just look at what the price is on a 10 night cruise. If i didn't have such a bargain..that price would be a lot higher that what is listed as now.
