To all that have been screwed out of the 125% credit by Royal Caribbean because they are resuming cruises on April 11th (when, clearly, they said they were suspending operations for 30 days on March 13th), here is the proof:

Don't worry, they will NOT be resuming cruises on April 11th.

All fun and games till your on a cheap half empty cruise and get quarantined for a cpl weeks in ur cabin, and watch people die around you....then you will really appreciate that cheap fare...:35_thinking:

The mortality rate of people who die from the Corona virus is less than 1%. And that is if you have pre-existing conditions such as cardiovascular disease, chronic respiratory disease, or diabetes. It is less than .5% if no pre-existing condition.

Painting a picture of an apocalyptic scene of people dying all over the ship is a little far fetched.

Even for those that are unfortunate enough to catch it, symptons are coughing, sneezing, and fever. Sounds kinda like the flu millions of people get every year.

The deaths are from folks over the age of 80. These same folks would succumb to the "common" flu as well. Unfortunate but nothing to panic over.

    More cruises.

My fondest cruise memories don't generally involve my cabin.

    This ^^^^^ And I can"t stress this enough.....this^^^^^^^^^

Of course, there isn't necessarily a right answer to this question, it is just a matter of preference. Some people are on the ship purely for relaxation and so the balcony makes sense. Myself, I cruise for the experiences. I've often said I don't even need a cabin just get me on the ship. I'll sleep on a deck chair and shower in the gym. (My wife disagrees with this philosophy).

Not having been to either one just yet I have to agree that I think having 2 Perfect Days might be a bit much.  Let people choose which private island experience they want.  Perfect Day has options for just chilling out or trill experience so there is argument that you can have your pick still.  See-see what happens.

I personally love the private island experience. I booked a Symphony itinerary specifically because it stops at both Perfect Day and Labadee!

  5. My wife and I honeymooned on Oasis back in 2017 and it was awesome!!!! Central park is amazing. We book now book cabins toward the rear on deck 8 when we cruise Oasis class just to make it easier to stroll through central park every night on the way to dinner. It sounds like you have great excursions booked so I my only advice would be to book your onboard shows as early as possible. Try to see them all including the aqua and ice shows as Oasis class entertainment is second to none. Enjoy and CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!

  6. From what I understand Chick-fil-a has chartered both and neither is completely full. Also as it is a corporate trip perhaps not everyone will be out on the island. Have seen some pretty cool pics of the ships docked side by side.

Hopefully Royal doesn't view this as a test to potentially dock 2 Oasis class on same day in the future.

  7. When we were there last week we had a cabana on Chill Island. The cabana included towels, floating mats, Bluetooth speaker, cooler with ice and waters, snorkeling gear, bar and food service from our cabana attendant. He gave us wristbands and said they were good for everything on the island except ziplining and helium balloon. Shocked, I asked if it included the water park. He assured us it did. We were shocked as it was not advertised that a chill island cabana included access to the waterpark. We asked him to double check so he asked another cabana attendant who said yes it was included. With this information my wife and I decided we may as well give the slides a go. We wandered over to the waterpark only to be turned away and told it was not included. Wasn't too bothered by it because we weren't planning on going on the slides anyway but found it amusing that a lot of the employees seemed misinformed and unaware of what was what.
