Most states require proof of vaccinations when a child enters school.  Is Florida going to ban this too?

Lifted and Shifted my Odyssey of the Seas sailing to September 11, 2022. The original sailing was supposed to be our honeymoon, but now we will celebrate our honeymoon and one year anniversary at the same time. ?

Waiting for tenders to disembark the ship at a port. This was especially problematic at CocoCay before Perfect Day at CocoCay. I haven't been to a port with tenders in several years, but the waiting period was the worst. One time we just missed the cut off for the tender and we were told to start boarding the next one. They had us waiting 30 minutes before it was completely full to leave. Our other party made the previous tender and had to wait for us.
A few years ago on Grandeur, the line for the tender went down the entire hallway on Deck 2 and wrapped around to the other side of the ship.

I'm frustrated that Royal isn't honoring my $18/day deluxe bev package on my next cruise!!!!

But seriously, as others have mentioned - the difficulty in pricing out a cruise.  Finding cabins is a real chore.
And the crazy fluctuations in costs.  I checked the DBP one day and it was $50/day, and the next it was $67.
I'm still holding out for better pricing.

I wish it was easier to do "mock bookings" online to plan out cruise costs.
First, you can't get to the breakdown of the "final cost" of the cruise (including the total cost of the prepaid gratuities, fees, taxes, etc and any discounts applied) without putting in personal info. I just put in fake info just to get past this page but it's annoying nonetheless. And the annoyance continues when you try to re-price after booking since you have to go through that process all over again when there is a sale. Also, you can't get the cost of things like beverage, dining, or spa packages until you actually book and see the prices in the cruise planner. You can make guesstimates, but prices for these things vary ship-to-ship, sailing-to-sailing. I'll happily concede my points if these are no longer the case.
My wife and I watch every single penny that goes into and out of our lives so we like being able to get the "big picture" cost.

I completely agree, and I was talking about this with @MelKaps last night.
The issue, as I see it, is cruise ships are incredibly under the gun not to have even ONE case onboard. Media is waiting with baited breath for a case so they can jump on the "ANOTHER COVID OUTBREAK AT SEA" train, followed up with the "WHAT WERE THEY THINKING" trash.
There will absolutely be a certain level of health theater onboard, because they have to do every little thing they can to mitigate the chance of a case onboard.
Dollywood just rolled back their restrictions, but no one cares when there's a case there because it's not gonna get clicks/views like "CRUISE SHIP PETRI DISH DISASTER" stuff.
It's the sad reality cruises are in right now.

I think employees families would be the first target test cruiser.
A family member has a vested interest in ensuring a positive outcome and it doesn't need to ever become public knowledge until it has occurred.
There are way too many bloggers/vloggers/social media influencers in their own mind who would create clickbait headlines without a care in the world what it might do to the cruise line.  They just want their moment in the spotlight or ad revenue and they will lie and exaggerate to get it.  Not all bloggers are like that but the cruise line doesn't need even one of them on a test cruise.
Start with employees and family.  That also sends a strong message.  This is safe, we even put our own families on the ship to prove it.

Well only a bot would know how to do that !  I have cruised umpteen dozen times and I never knew you could book all of your MTD at once.  Of course, I don't claim to be all that bright, either.  Thanks @twangster

There is a trick to planning all dining including My Time for the duration of the cruise.
Click on the Dining button, choose All Dining

Next click Plan All Cruise Dining at the bottom

This will open a screen where you can plan every night and checkout only once.

With the new My Royal Cruise planner coming this will likely change but I suspect there will be something similar.

I moved my 9 night sailing in October to an 8 night sailing in September 2022. Very similar itinerary, but no overnight in Athens. However, the taxes are tripled in 2022. I was paying ~$60 pp and it jumped to ~$180+ pp.

MelKaps reacted to Kayleigh in How would a vaccine AND mask mandate affect your decision to cruise?
My husband and I have talked about this A LOT lately. We (fingers crossed) have a cruise planned for November. We are already planning on getting the vaccine and have been really good about wearing masks in public (we had COVID this past November-he worse than me). If RC were to require masks, we would still go! I understand wearing a mask when you're inside (ie elevators, walking to your table at the MDR, etc). But, if you're outside and RC is only operating at 50% capacity, I don't think you should wear a mask IMO. I am in no way an anti-masker, but if you're outside and able to social distance, I think they shouldn't require a mask. Here in the states, we are lucky with the vaccine roll-out so far (please do not come at me for this with political BS). We live in NY and we may be the last group to get vaccinated, but we are hopeful that if people keep getting vaccinated, we should all be good to go!
    Again, just my two cents!

It was our 7th wedding anniversary and we decided to take the 2019 holiday cruise on Mariner since we never had a honeymoon. We had so much fun but one of our favorite things is the unlimited dining package! We are foodies so we tried every restaurant. We went to Izumi Hibachi twice because the food was soooo good!
