  1. If you have a travel agent, they should ensure Royal knows your B2B.  We love to cruise B2B because we get to see both of the ship's itineraries.  We just send an email to our TA telling him we want to do a B2B on whatever ship and when...He knows our room preferences.   He has always found us the same room for both cruises and will call us when he has everything ready to book.  A great TA is worth their weight in gold.

  2. We have been to all three of them.  As others have said Nachi is the most laid-back spot and might be because they only allow 130 guest per day at a cost of $59 bucks per adult.  Mr. Sanchos doesn't have a limit and cost $68 bucks for an adult and has a very large water park if you have kids...It's an additional charge of $14 dollars.  When a bunch of cruise ships are in, Mr. Sanchos may have too many guests and their guest services may suffer...Longer to get drinks and food.  This happened on our last time at Mr. Sancho.  Paradise Beach might be the most beautiful of all three at a cost of $60 bucks per adult and charges $18 dollars for their water park.  All three have fantastic food and drinks.

If you want a laid-back experience, then Nachi is your place...It's our go to place whenever we get back to Coz.  If you have kids or want to party, then Mr. Sanchos is your place.

I really like Labadee better than CocoCay. It is so far removed from the mainland of Haiti that’s have not felt unsafe. I hope you enjoy your stop there.

Labadee is our favorite port...Fantasic beach day.

Has anyone heard if Royal is going to change the port of call from Haiti? They are having some real problems there, kidnappings and civil unrest, doesn't look safe.

The only time we can remember Royal cancelling Labadee was years ago when they had all the boats protesting.

If for some reason they aren't there when cabins are ready, head over to Guest Services. We forgot to request one and it was in the room within an hour or two.

Guest Services on boarding day can be crazy...We have just picked up our phone in our room to call Guest Service.  So much faster and easier then standing in that long line.

  6. On our March 5 family Wonder cruise...Three of our daughters in laws tested positive for Covid after they got home.  Strange thing was nobody else caught it even after riding 6 people in one vehicle (1 person tested positive) and 4 in another in a vehicle (Two tested positive) for 5 hours home with them.  We told them they must have caught the new female only version...Lol

  7. For our next two cruises, it's the same price it has been for months...We track it on a spreadsheet. They just adjusted the base price to reflect what we call their fuzzy math...  We know some of our friends on here don't like the term fuzzy math but it's a term we like.  Bottom line is if you track the items you are interested in, you learn what the base price is for that cruise...If you see it cheaper, buy it but continue to monitor it.  If you see it cheaper again, cancel and repurchase it.

  8. We purchased the 3-night dining plan on one cruise and could eat just three meals at any specialty restaurant but may have to pay a surcharge.  We couldn't see wasting one dining experience on Playmakers...Even though Psycho love their wings.  The cost to eat the wings at Playmakers is minimal anyway.  When we purchased the Ultimate dinner package, we did eat at some of the specialty restaurants that had a surcharge, but we were never charged it.

  9. On our last Alaska cruise in June 22 on the Radiance...We sometimes had better internet service on the inside passage by using our cell service then the ships Wi-Fi.  A lot of the time the ships Wi-Fi was nonexistence.  We would turn off airplane mode and most of the time would pick up a land cell tower...If we got the cell@sea we would quickly go back to airplane mode.

  10. They had it on the Wonder this month.  Newlyweds were selected by who was married the shortest time.  The oldest married couple was selected by who was married the longest. The fun part was selecting the middle couple...They picked four or five couples who had been married between a certain number of years.  They brought them down in front of the stage and had them show how much passion they still had for each other...Quite funny.

My cabin steward did say if I wanted service I should call her extension on the card she gave me.

On our recent Wonder cruise our room steward gave us his card and pointed out the barcode picture thing on his card. Told us if we need anything 24 hours a day to open that code with our phone camera.  We did and it opened a web page where we could select lots items we might needed...Anything from extra pillows to ice.  We used it to request ice one late night and within 15 minutes it was delivered to our room.

  12. Years ago when we first started cruising...We found a super deal on our favorite alcohol on the ship and we really exceeded our limit.   We grabbed a porter to help with our bags after we got off and he tried to take the four big cardboard containers of our alcohol from us to put on the cart.  Not knowing any better, we declined and carried them through customs.  When we got to the customs agent of course he noticed all the alcohol and sent us to a special room.  There they open all the boxes and after counting all the bottles, they told us we would have to pay the duty on the excess alcohol...We thought ol'boy...This is going to be expensive.  The agent starts punching numbers into a calculator and tells us our extra duty will be (Can't remember the exact amount but less that $10 bucks)…Shocked and extremely glad we quickly paid in cash.   We learned a valuable lesson that day...Always listen to our Porter!

  13. I’ll try.   When he first logs on to the WiFi using his last name and DOB, he is offered a couple of choices.   Use his free 48 hours or use his purchased 7 day package.  He selects the paid 7 day package and sets up his account by entering a user name and a PIN number.   Then he logs to the WiFi  on to my device once again using his last name and DOB and again is offered the same two choices but this time he selects to use his 48 hours establishing a different user name and PIN number which my device saves so I can log on without having to enter his username and PIN code.   He could have also logged on to his package on my phone and we could share it but only one of us could be online at one time.   When you try to log on and another device is connected…It’ll tell device limit reached and ask if you want to switch devices.

Now this was on the Wonder and on other ships, we alway had to go to the WiFi desk to get them to do it.

We are doing our first B2B on Liberty (June 15th - 20th & 20th - 24th). How does this work in between cruises?  We also didn’t book both at the same time so we have 2 different rooms. The main questions (as well as any other helpful info you’d like to provide) are…

    - Do we have to get off the ship between cruises?

    - How does our luggage get to the new room?

    - Do we have the same servers for dinner?

    - Any other helpful info?

    Thanks!!!!

    - Do we have to get off the ship between cruises?

On our recent Wonder B2B we had to leave the ship and go through customs and then wait in the terminal for about 20 minutes before we were brough back onboard

    - How does our luggage get to the new room?

We had to pack up our drawers and put back into our suitcases but they transferred all our hanging stuff.  We left all of our stuff in our room and they moved it to our new room...All except for our safe contents.

    - Do we have the same servers for dinner?

No but you may be able to request them.  Our second week we had several family members joining us and months before our cruise, we emailed Royal to make sure we had a big enough table to accommodate all of us.  We received the reply from Royal before our cruise, so we knew what table we had for the second week and checked it out the first week to make sure it would work.  First week was on the 3rd floor dining room and the second was on the 4th.
