Was just on Adventure of the seas. Worst RCCL ship I've ever been on. Nothing but problems from day 1. RCCL, you should be ashamed of yourselves..m
We sometimes wonder...If this was posted by a real cruiser or someone just wanting to slam a cruise line or ship...Their only post and why post something like this and not come back to answer any questions?

GC is one of my favorites. I'm a beach person so I think that's why I appreciate GC so much. Best water and nicest beach I have ever experienced.
And some fantastic scuba diving.

Royal announces different codes on cruises for different situations. We believe Bravo is a code to alert crew to a fire or other serious incident on board and Kilo a general signal for crew to report to emergency stations. Any others?

On our last cruse to Alaska on the Radiance of the Seas...You could not find a cup of coffee anywhere on the ship before 0600 except from room service. We are early risers and enjoy drinking coffee and watching the sunrise. We ordered coffee the first day from room service after we couldn't find any. The guy who delivered it asked if we would like our coffee at the same time everyday...We said yes we would love that. He delivered it every mourning at 0500 and we didn't have to request it. We tipped him very well every morning!

Lets face it...Most the meals in the Main dinning room are just about the same thing...Ship to ship and cruise to cruise. We have mention to our waiter's and our head waiter on our last two cruises, that we love Indian curry dishes. They have brought us a fantastic dish every night with dinner...Most of the time from the crew mess.

We love the old machines that they no longer have onboard...Texas Pete and Monopoly were two of our favorite's.

We have a triple diamond 25 cents machine in our game room but playing its just not the same when we only win our money!

It says in the weather forecast that there'd be scattered thunderstorms around Thurs and Friday next week. How long do scattered thunderstorms normally last in FL?
Scattered usually is a way or the weatherman to cover his rear...Just incase it rains. Most days it rains for a little while every afternoon...Sometimes just enough to break the humidity. The hourly forecast seems to be closer to reality when you look at the percentage for rain.

We use to just buy one package for one device and share it...Only one device can be connect online at a time. The only down side is we would knock the other one offline when the other one logs in. But we are almost always together so we could coordinate it. Now that we are Diamond Plus, we don't get the package anymore and just use our free time.

We live in Florida and if we listened to the weather forecast...We would stay home and miss a lot of great things. There is so much to do on a cruise ship and never even know its raining. We love the Freedom of the Seas!!!

We never carry our luggage off the ship...We just leave out what we want to wear off the ships and pack the rest up...Set the suitcases out in the hallway the night before. When we get off the ship, we always grab a porter to help with our bags...They also seem to get us through customs and out the door faster.

I just trust cash in hand over pre-paying for Gratuities.
We trust and do both…We let them distribute the tips the regular way and we reward the superstars that go above and beyond to make our cruise special…That way we might not miss one.

I'm flying to Canada for the Vancouver departure on Sunday. Can I fill out two ArriveCan things before I leave? The email from Royal implies you have to do the second one after you pass through customs. I'd rather just have all this done ahead of time if possible.
No. You can only do one arrivecan at a time but we got by just doing one arrivecan in June…Just did the one for our flight in and it was attached to our passport. The next day when we got on the ship…No Customs or Royal asked us for the second one.

We have done the Alaska north bound cruise tour twice...Once in 2017 and again last June and both on the Radiance of the Seas. We like the cruise tours because everything is taken care of for us...Don't have to carry your luggage all over the place...It's delivered to your room and you just set it outside the next mourning. We like the four trips/days on the train and the beautifully scenery. The food on the train was excellent this year and the hotels are awesome!!! The Denali park visit was included and is a must see and do.

First question:
I keep seeing connecting balconies available for my sailing online but when I call they can't find them, the rooms as booked to the RC agents. Then the rooms disappear temporarily only to come back again once I've hung up. The agents insist they are actually booked, not like a temporary lock from someone viewing them online.
Save yourself the headache. Use a TA and tell them specifically want you want. They will then let you know what they have found...Rooms numbers and deck level. Then you can check it out and decide if you want to book it or not. Our TA knows our preferences, retired military, Etc. He also knows we prefer balconies on the right side near the elevators.

If you have any of the US Government free tests, there are a few companies offering online proctored testing using the Gov provided tests.
