Read on another board that the casino host on Allure said smoking will still be allowed in the casino … in keeping with the best interest of its customers??

I would be much more accepting if Royal would publish some of their own medical data. Such as “ in the last 30 days we have seen xx cases of Covid onboard, including xx% of the omicron variant. Of these, xx were breakthrough cases of fully vaccinated passengers.”
They have already instituted essentially a no vax, no cruise policy. In addition to a Covid free test policy. Without showing this type of data, i personally think this is less a medical decision, and more of a let’s stay in the good side of the CDC decision.

After corresponding with Royal corporate and pointing out that: 
1) my vaccination card is also a hand written government form Which they gladly accept as acceptable documentation, and
2) my spouse embarked harmony on Sunday with the exact same dept of health paperwork
they will be refunding me the $315 for the on site tests

I mean they've all been changing and they are absolutely clear about it on their website... You can't miss it. I get it's stressful but the requirements everywhere have changed and I mean other putting neon flashing signs I don't get how they can be more clear.
 
I mean even posts on this forum have had people painstakingly documenting their process for the benefit of others.

Proof of (1) vaccination status and (2) proof of negative test results within three days of boarding 

If I remember correctly, laundry was offered at a discount for the normal bag laundry deal.
I thought RC handled the whole situation quite well.  I had friends on Carnival at the same time, they were closer to FT Lauderdale and they stopped  in to top off their gas not knowing how long they might have to evade and let whoever wanted to get off disembark and gave them some kind of refund.

Be careful how you read that list.  I hope things will revert back if the current surge in positives continues to grow. But right now, CVS tests are free of charge if covered by insurance or federal program (no insurance). I agree that part is confusing. Unless it’s a first cruise, most land casino players are also club royale players and the club royale comps are normally better.. and you can’t blend or stack unlike offers

After some additional digging, finally found the answer i was hoping for.  April 1, 2021 a “new” annual comp will be credited based on your extended status.

I believe in general, WAYTOO is referring to the fact that the process in place for many years had been when we upgraded from a comp fare, we received a casino discounted rate on the difference between the upgrade fare class and the comped fare class.  Appears now we are paying that full difference.  This has happened to me on my last two bookings and I wasn't sure if it was a policy change or just working with the overseas call center folks.

Biggest difference was D+ used to get concierge club access with Pinnacles. Newer boats have gone to the suite lounge and limited non suite entry to Pinnacle. Do yes, minimal difference in reward for a significant difference (95 points) in cruising loyalty.

We routinely hit the windjammer, back to the room for a quick sweep and teeth brushing, grab the bags and go.  No need to complicate the windjammer experience with baggage.
