I don't mean the onboard Casino Host...I mean the club royale casino hosts. I have never used my casino host for anything. I tried once to resolve an issue with pre-cruise dining reservations and didnt even get a response back. Now I have a new host assigned and the last two cruises I have booked, after calling the overseas call center and doing all the leg work, have transferred to my new host. Does anyone know, are these hosts earning commission based on these transfers similia to transferring your reservation to a travel agent? If so, how much is that commission? Since I am doing 100% of the work, and the hosts aren't even returning emails, I am curious how much money is being wasted. Why not return the money to the players in terms of added comps or onboard freebies? When I say the host is doing nothing, nothing would be an overstatement.

I apologize in advance, i have not read the fine print on the club royale mail/email offers. can you use an offer code on more than 1 cruise listed on an offer? Book 2 trips using the same code? TIA

I think Coastal Kitchen/Suite Lounge and suite neighborhood are being confused. My experience has been an unauthorized visit to coastal kitchen is a waste of time because you wouldn't have a reservation. Most times the Bartenders at Suite Lounge ask your seapass card to verify your eligibility. With the trend toward the historic solarium becoming less of the serene area it once was, I can see a trend toward people attempting access to the suite neighborhood which is much quieter than the new Solarium. I have only been in Utopias Suite neighborhood but it doesnt have capacity to handle large crowds.

Had a similar issue after a 7 Day December cruise aboard Wonder of the Seas. WIfe developed cough and fever last 2 days before cruise...self quarantined. I got it about 5 days after returning. She was ill for close to 30 days...multiple urgent care trips. Mine lasted a week. It was a non-productive, dry cough that made sleeping nearly impossible.

1) In my experience, the BOGO D+ cannot be purchased/reserved prior to boarding. In theory you might be able to purchase regular via the APP/website then swap to a D+ BOGO at the meal. This might be risky and for naught, since my experience has been the online reservations only open up the 5PM to 6PM reservation blocks. I made a suggestion on my last cruise because I purchased four Ultimate Dining Packages and had to spend the first 1.5 hour of my cruise modifying reservations only to discover the restaurants were at 30-40% capacity for the time I wanted. So much for get out there and make adventures. Of course, if you are in a suite, you can book the restaurant for the time you want when you respond to the suite concierge pre boarding. 2) For VOOM on a 3 day cruise, keep using your Mobile device on cell coverage until out of land coverage. Put it in airplane mode or turn it off from 5PM to midnight. At midnight you can start your two free days, which will end at midnight prior to arrival homeport. Wake up and your back with your cell coverage.....at most you miss 6-7 hours of internet availability (2 of which is probably during dinner) so no big impact.

Yes Mason Jar brunch is included in the UDP. Royal needs to fix their online pre rules reservation system. My experience has been they only open up the 5-6 pm reservations for pre-booking. Who eats at that time on vacation? We want you out there catching adventures but spend the first hour of your vacation modifying all your reservations. I went to chops the first night at my desired time (40% capacity). Giovani’s the next night was at 30% capacity. Why force us through this extra level of annoyance.

Curious.. do cruise lines have no cruise lists like airlines have no fly lists. Seeing the events on navigator of the seas and other violence and drunken activity seems like RCCL could really benefit if any of these cruisers ever exhibited any previous bad behavior (threats, obnoxiously drunk, belligerence).

Gotcha thanks.. i had about $150 i think in my last cruise and i think it covered some alcohol bottle purchases. Trying to be more deliberate this time.. not wanting to leave any money on the table

Out of curiosity.. 1) what is the average folio credit you are given if you reach 5k casino points on a cruise? 2) can this folio credit be applied to daily inboard gratuities, other gratuities? thanks

Requesting assistance...no success while booking my Ultimate Dining Package to make dining reservations. Now I have a 4 Person UDP purchased, how do i go about making the nightly reservations - online? or do i have to wait until i get on board (not desired).

Thanks.. yes we complied ..just shifted the dining plan.. 2 bought 1st night, other 2 got the bogo, tonight the other 2 will reciprocate and everyone on their own third night. thanks again

Clarification requested.. i have used this perk many times in the past and i am currently on Allure.. our dining plan ( party of 4 all D+) was 1st night chops, 2nd night do as you please and 3rd night Giovanis. planned on eating very one purchasing their 1st night at chops then use their Bogo to get Giovanni’s compd on the 3rd night. Waiter informs us that both legs of the bogo need to be complete by the 2nd night, is this true? I thought the rules were you just had to complete the purchase part of the bogo by the 2nd night. Any experience with this?

Is there a way to apply the Diamond plus 150% single cruiser discount while booking an online reservation? Or is a phone call required? i have attempted to ghost book the reservation and it always applies the full double occupancy room rates.

She did combine them....she just only allowed the trade-in value for the interior ($400) and not the value of the interior cabin ($900-$1000) to be applied to the Grand Suite upgrade. More money out of pocket for me. I could have just booked her in the interior as a solo and had her stay with me in the Grand Suite. Would have cost me $400 more but would have cost RCCL $1000 in lost revenue. This is where their policy makes no sense. APM

Sadly, we lost the Champagne Bar venue to accommodate most of these bionic bars.champagne bars had some of the most talented mixologists onboard. Don’t strive to be Carnival!

Has the policy changed again? Called to book a stateroom combining 2 winnings wonderland 23 HOLxxx series offer codes. One for a JS and another for an interior. in an effort to upgrade to a GS, RCCL used to always apply to hr value of the room not being used to cover the upgrade fees. I was told that only the trade in value of the 2nd offer ($400) would be applied. Is this a change? A dual occupancy JS and a dual occupancy interior would normally cover a GS. In advance, thanks.

My original query was for the Suite Lounge...was asked every night if I wanted to use my Diamond Plus Vouchers which I had surplus of so it was not an issue but I remember it being contradictory to stated policy "the Suite Lounge serves complimentary continental breakfast and evening drinks."

Please refresh my memory, do suite lounge happy hour cocktails count against your Diamond/Diamond + allotment of 4/5 drinks?

Some of the worst cruise behavior I have ever experienced. For example, watching on the outdoor big screen from the Viikng Crown Lounge, no audio but still a great view and snacks too. Others had the same great idea but they took the cushions off the chairs to make their chairs extra cushion-y. So you had to watch , sitting in a chair that was designed to have cushions, but didnt, and just sit on the frame.

I have a compd cabin, my sons have a compd cabin....trying to move them one week to the right. As I stated in original post, I am fully aware that the shift may be denied because the comp is not available on the new date (for both cabins). Since I was going to be onboard next week, the purpose of my post was to see if anyone thought NEXT CRUISE would be able to assist. I was hoping to avoid calling the call center because my experience has been since they got rid of the PACNORWEST call center, the overseas call centers can barely handle the routine calls let alone this simple scenario that is just not routine for them. I will contact my RCCL casino host and see if he can assist before I get onboard this weekend.

Sorry for another very specific scenario question. I am cruising next week. I also have a weekend cruise that is planned for mid October. That trip is in jeopardy due to some work requirements. It is a casino comp cruise (2 cabins) that I booked onboard with NExt Cruise last December. Question is: can NExt Cruise help me pick up those 2 cabins and slide them 1 week to OCT 20-23 or do they just deal in new bookings? I am aware that there is a chance for denial because that cruise isn't eligible for cruise comp (low risk) and that I will likely have to pay a $100/passenger ($400 total) to shift the cruise. Thanks

Normally do a 7 day cruise and purchase either the 3 day or unlimited dining package. Doing a 3 day Independence of the Seas in Oct. My plan is to purchase the CHOPS plus 1 package for all 4 of us. Is the Diamond Plus Specialty Dinner BOGO still available on three day cruises? This would allow a First night Buy 2 get 2 free, then use the CHOPS plus 1 for the the next two nights for all 4 of us. Thanks

Thank you, that’s what i believed the rule to be. March 31 is the best date for me anf fairly certain he could pick up all 400 needed points in one night, but 3 days would be much less hectic.
