@SweetPea … I think I might be one of the few people interested in this, but I am seeing a lot of Royal Orchestra “subsets” playing smaller venues (primarily Boleros).  This seems like super danceable music.  
 

Have seen any of them? (even if it was a “drive by viewing” )

Also, let me know how I could send you “secret flowers” that Batman will not notice )

No! I'm sorting through pics. I'll post them later. You take the cycleboat over to Honeymoon Beach which was beautiful! Not crowded. They had a live band there. It was good for snorkeling if that's your thing or they had golf carts to rent if you wanted to explore the island. 

Or you could just enjoy the beach. 

They had punch, rum punch, and water on the boat. It was a lovely 20 minute boat ride or so from the ship. The best part is that i am pretty sure i was the only one who pedaled on the way there. Just because. It's a motorized boat. If we only pedaled, capt said it would've taken us nearly 6 hours to get there. 

 

No pedaling = no divorce.

Ha! I will try to check it out. No flowers necessary! Music Hall has been very dead and 270 has primarily been the Book at night. At least the 3x we tried. Boleros is the only dancing I've seen!

Thanks for mentioning this.  I kept meaning to ask but kept forgetting…

Such a shame.  I really like the Music Hall on AN and hoped it was as good on OY.  I guess not…

I'm not sure what's going on here, but we've tried several times for Curt and they did have a band here a couple nights, but if i saw 6 people on the dance floor, that was a lot. 

I'm not sure if we have bad timing and keep missing it or, it could just be this cruise?

I do recall Music Hall on Anthem being much livelier!

It was pretty busy on Wonder but we went for name that tune type events at night more than music/dancing. We didn't really like the band. It was also a good excuse to get a drink I like there... the Metalliquor (think it has vanilla vodka, raspberry liquor, and something else in it).

The Music Hall on Quantum class is the best dance floor RCL has … what a waste.

Oh I thought he secretly bought it for you and was waiting until the end of the cruise to give it to you.

Raffa knew the second we were back aboard. 

I was so happy because it's the first I've eaten all day. 

I did one glass of rum punch, but i can't handle the sugar. I switched to water. 

Batman should've followed suit .... more on that later. 

First we got the white on white cupcakes (amazing). Today is the Red Velvet.

 

Playmakers jalapeño poppers and chicken tenders + fruit, which i feel bad about wasting.

Again with the sugar. I really only do berries and am more of a veggie person. 

 

I had 2 poppers in prep for Giovanni’s Part II.

Ah dancing.  I vaguely remember that although it’s been 44+ years.  Hubby does not dance, I mean barely got a first dance at our wedding doesn’t dance.  I gave up trying.  Miss dancing

Hey, I'm not naturally thin. (And i still have a way to go!) And i hate exercise. The superfluous pedaling today was the most exercise i got all cruise ... 

I do intermittent fasting normally (fast 20, eat 4 hours) and cruises throw me off  

1) Batman is convinced that that is a replacement purse that they picked up yesterday on the island. 

2) A couple we met on the tour today explained his theory on The Book: we were seeing inside the head of an alcoholic and he was simply making a book he was reading come to life. 

Since when am i the sober, normal one?

You do you. I drink coffee for breakfast at home (healthy I know) and we eat healthy 5 of 7 nights per week. All bets are off on cruises though.

The most exercise I get on any cruise (save the one snorkeling excursion we did last March) is taking the stairs... and that's why we're almost always on deck 10, so it's usually 5 flights max up or down. Walking from the aquatheater to deck 17 on Wonder while freeloading almost killed me.

Here is the only good news … I am bringing 5 “dance addicts” with me. 
 

Who knows if the Music Hall’s “tides” will shift. 
 

I’ll send a quick note either way.

I would be your friend to the end .

I have eaten a burger with a knife and fork. I only found it off-putting because he was cutting dry fries with the utensils.

There are things I don't like touching because I'm classy.....so knife and fork comes out even for wings sometimes.

Ok fine...more honesty...I have used and fork a knife for wings too, if it has sauce on it. Dry wings, I can use my hands

I took video of both Boleros and MH at 8:40, but having trouble uploading ATM. At the time, MH was packed and hopping and no one was dancing to the band at Boleros. 

 

I will see if i can upload later.
