Burger Quest on Mariner of the Seas

I am on a quest to find the best burger on Mariner of the Seas.

Playmakers on boarding day, either classic or truffle. Day 2: Chops for Lunch!! Day 4 Playmakers redux. Day 5 Jamie's 

4 burgers in 5 days.  I do this for all of y'all!  If it is delivered hot, the room service Wagyu burger is pretty darn good.

I had some really good burgers in the WJ on Adventure in June. Then on Jewel last month they were meh.

FWIW, big fan of the classic burger from Playmakers (and the garlic parm fries).

I feel like the Playmaker's burger is the best across the fleet. However, that room service burger is also amazing. The issue is it isn't always consistent across the fleet. The WJ/MDR burger is my least favorite but will do in a pinch.

It is pretty good but not a huge fan of gruyere cheese, so that personally takes away from my enjoyment. I would rank it in 3rd position.

the burger i had at johnny rockets on symphony was my best meal of the cruise outside of 150 central park

All right, all right, all right. 

In my honest opinion, Playmakers original burger is the best burger on the Mariner. I think, napkins down. 

PM could leave off the onion ring, though. Heck, even the truffle fries that come with the burger are superfluous (big word of the day, I get extra points). I am going to get the onion ring tower EVERY time.  The sundae was really nice. You know, if you like ice cream and that sort of stuff.

My wife is a weirdo and eats her burgers with NOTHING but ketchup (not even cheese) so I make her keep the onion ring on hers so she can give it to me.

I think way back we both posted in another thread that we both loved that PM Burger. I always tell people, forget the wings- get the burger!

Yep. I know most people go there for lunch or a snack but between simple tastes & frugality, PM has become one of our specialty dinners every cruise since we first tried it on Indy in 2022. Pretty good size burger & fries and reasonably priced. Sure I won't be as stuffed afterwards like when we eat at Giovanni's but that just means I'll snack later on (like most nights).

HELL YEAH!!!!! Nuts to all the overpriced, underwhelming "do want a fried egg on your burger" designer hamburgers. My needs are simple.

I like mine with lettuce and tomato, Heinz 57 & French fried potatoes..............Big Kosher pickle and cold draft beer, Good God Almighty which way do I steer?

Unless you count Tostitos or maybe a plain cheese quesadilla, my wife won't even eat Mexican... but at least she doesn't put ketchup on it, lol.

I love playmakers but it’s seems like regardless of the ship, the service is slow/poor. On icon it was dreadful the one time we went. Really left a bad taste in my mouth.

The service was excellent at Playmakers on Mariner in early December. 

All 3 times we went.
