smokeybandit Posted July 10, 2024 Report Posted July 10, 2024 So, it's still a sea day, just a sea day docked at Coco Cay? Neesa, Mike45orlando and Baked Alaska 3 Quote

Specialty restaurants are usually open for lunch on the sea day. I hope this doesn't become the norm for 4 day cruises. Seems like an attempt to generate more revenue for the cruise line. Neesa Posted July 10, 2024 Report Posted July 10, 2024 Seems like a nice day to stay on the ship! Baked Alaska, Sweety, OCSC Mike and 1 other 4 Quote

The only downside I could see would be if specialty restaurants are then not open for brunch/lunch if that's something one wanted to purchase. Otherwise, mostly the best of both worlds IMO... stay on the ship (which will be far less crowded than a sea day) or enjoy a 2nd PDCC depending upon your preference. Personally, we would love to get the extra day at Perfect Day, versus the sea day. Our typical day a for Perfect day is to get up early, have breakfast in the MDR, chill out on the lower outside deck, then around lunchtime, get off the ship to go eat at the "bbq", then get back on the ship. It's nice to be on the ship when its not very crowded, plus we're not beach/pool people anyway. OCSC Mike, PPPJJ-GCVAB and Sweety 3 Quote
amanalo217 Posted July 11, 2024 Report Posted July 11, 2024 I'd be bummed to miss out on the chance for Mason Jar brunch WAAAYTOOO 1 Quote

brdjnr Posted July 14, 2024 Report Posted July 14, 2024 We are booked in October on Utopia and we would LOVE to get 2 stops at CocoCay CruzOnBye and OCSC Mike 2 Quote
amanalo217 Posted July 14, 2024 Report Posted July 14, 2024 If I had to do 2 days at CocoCay I think I would rather lose the Nassau stop than a sea day to have more time to explore the ship. I know I could just stay on instead of going to CocoCay one of the days but I would want everything available and fully staffed. WAAAYTOOO, RCIfan1912, fireclan and 2 others 5 Quote
Va4fam Posted July 16, 2024 Report Posted July 16, 2024 Interesting change. We have been stalking the Feb 3rd sailing for months to pair it up with a Feb Wonder cruise and a Universal Studios weekend sandwiched in the middle. Maybe this is a sign to go ahead and book it...............??? WAAAYTOOO 1 Quote
