Lora
How large of a suitcase will fit under the beds in the cabin? I want to make sure I can store them there so that we can have more room in the cabin. We are sailing on the Oasis (tomorrow!!!) and have a balcony overlooking Central Park. WAAAYTOOO
The storage space under the beds are quite large. My biggest suitcase will fit there. I put the smaller suitcases inside the bigger one to save space. We also have a very large garment bag piece of luggage that will fit underneath the bed. Never had any problem. Sometimes I have to lift up the bed to get it under there but once under there, everything is fine. Lora
WAAAYTOOO...did you check in your garment bag or carry it on?
Matt
All of our luggage, big and small, has fit under the beds. InmyElement
monorailmedic
The only bag I had any issue with was my larger rolling bag, which is very deep. I just unzipped it/split it in half and it fit with minimal finesse. That was on Allure. This is the bag (the xtra large variety): http://amzn.to/1Pr9xNr
JohnK6404
We are able to put all of the luggage (nested), including empty garment bag, and shoes under the bed too.
MikeK
Same as all the above, I never had any problem with any of my suitcases fitting under my bed.
DocLC
Sometimes you may need to lift the bed slightly to get the bag under, but I've not had a problem.
arebee
I never tried to put under the bed, usually we put them in the closet and were fine.
WAAAYTOOO
My garment bag luggage is too big to carry on. It is always in the checked baggage. We usually carry 2 pieces each. 1 big rollerbag and the big garment bag and 2 smaller carry-on pieces each. It's always fit everything although sometimes it is a challenge ! wsyrob
I would say if the bag is too big just open it and slide it under. I did that on Freedom last year and it had an added benefit of acting like a big dirty clothes drawer during my trip. Steve
Todd
Travel with soft sided luggage so it is never a problem. Even in a small cabin always seems to be more than enough room for luggage.
packercruising
A full size hard case fits under. As mentioned, you may have to lift up the frame. Good question, BTW. :)
whenismynextcruise
I love this blog so much! I was just online shopping for new luggage and this exact question came to mind! Thanks to all for yet another informative thread. Matt and DocLC

Vinay
If in a cabin, the 2 beds are separated, and you have 4 hard top bags each of length 28", can 2 bags fit under 1 bed Thank you
Rackham
This is a medium sized, TravelPro hardside with a height of 13" underneight a standard bed on Anthem. There might be another inch of usable height here.
RCVoyager
We were on the Carnival Mardi Gras in Oct. They said we could not store luggage under our bed because another family was staying there. Well, I might have made some of the above up, but I will say, never, ever, ever go on that ship or any of their new ships. They are packed so tight, it is cruising malpractice. And I was Carnival's biggest supporter on this forum. WAAAYTOOO

For the two bigger ones, it went under top-bottom-top-bottom (if you're looking at the bed from above). For the smaller carry-on suitcases, those went in sideways so all the wheels were facing one direction. No problem at all, and I was concerned about that too! Rackham
Same suitcase positioned 90° to the previous. 27.25 in of height including the wheels.
CruiseMsclDad
Never once on any cruise have I ever had an issue with storing our luggage under the bed, this has been true for older and newer ships, it's a great often overlooked feature!
