Doing this with my Son sister and brother in law. Hope there is someplace to sit and ride on the boat since I am not as young as I once was. In St Thomas we rented a driver and van for the day to see the sights. FYI after reading more the public beach in that area is clothing optional. Not so much when cruise ships are there but still a possibility if you are bringing the kids.

We are also on HOS in late June. I found this place. Looks pretty cool. Restaurant/Bar with chair and umbrella rentals. Oasis 2/18 One more week!

We were on Oasis last year for the Super Bowl. They had it in the Opal theater and had a bar setup and nacho type food. It was fun until the bartender mixed up my seapass card with another cruisers and gave me the wrong card back. Didn't notice it until I went to get another beer. Wound up spending half the game in a guest services line getting that fixed.

Anybody done this First Night done right on Oasis recently? We did it in Feb 2017 and it was great. They had just started it. We had a card in our room saying Giovanni's. As I was about to leave to try and change it to Chops the phone rang. It was a Guest services agent who asked if we wanted 150. Rather than hassle with it I said yes knowing it was one of the most expensive options and we had a very nice meal and the bill at the end said $0.00 We are going on Oasis again in Feb and other than the price increase is there anything we should know? Would like to try Chops this time.

This is counter to what Wilson posted above but RCL phone operators often don't know about stuff. Any idea how long after booking you can redeem this. I am at 70K playing sporadically. Where did you find the Casino Royale contact info?

I always made a beer run before retiring to my balcony for the night. I would take my wife's and sons seapass and get 3 beers from 2 dirrerent bars. Those corona cans were real nice. I could get a 6 pack in my pockets. The bartenders had no problem giving me 3 unopened beers.

That is disappointing but also pretty typical. No such thing as a free lunch. I was aiming for that 200,000 point redemption. Maybe they will work for a hotel room in Gulfport or Biloxi before a cruise out of New Orleans.

That's good advice. I have been playing since Feb 1 and have amassed 21,000 points in 3 weeks. I drive a chemical tanker and often find myself at shippers and receivers sitting in a break room for a couple of hours while they load or unload my truck. This game is perfect for killing time there and in truck stops, I am a bit concerned about redeeming them for on-board credit though. If RCI doesn't honor the current sale promotion when I book a new cruise it very well could be a wash. It might be best used for one of the short 3-4 day cruises where $250 in OBC is a higher percentage of the cost. What do you have to do to redeem points for OBC?

I started playing this game Wednesday night on my phone. I am up to 5000 reward coins in 3 days. I do believe some onboard credit is in my future. Auto spin is your friend. I played for 3 hours last night at my brother in laws house in Cape Canaveral last night with the phone on my leg spinning away out by the fire pit and pool. You do not have to be engaged at all. Just tap a button every once in a while when you sense movement stop. It does use some data though. 715 Mbps last night on wifi.

How accurate are these deck plan drawings? I am in 6606. Its right next to the hump cabins. Will I get a couple of extra feet on 1 end. It looks to be about half of the hump from the drawing.

I spent a couple of thousand more dollars and booked Oasis in a D-4 balcony one day later. We were planning to sail Oasis in 2018 as his graduation gift anyway and would have spent that money then. This is a nice upgrade from the last minute cheep cruise I was planning for my wife and I. Now if he will just get a job I can afford to cruise a bit more often. First time with a balcony. Got a feeling my wife will get spoiled.

Its basically the same price as a double booking. We are leaning towards the Oasis booking. The room alone without adding balcony footage goes from 132 sq ft to 182 and deck 2 to deck 6 or higher. Anyone stayed in a deck 6 Balcony on Oasis? It looks convenient since that is the Boardwalk deck.

Thanks. The problem with that is I am having a hard time pulling the trigger on a deck 2 inside cabin for 1 at $1420 when my wife and I booked the same thing for under $750 for both of us. The only upgrade possible on Rhapsody is inside to ocean view as all the balcony and suites are sold out. Doing some more number crunching. It looks like I might be able to book a balcony for the 3 of us on Oasis leaving a day later for a few hundred dollars more total. Damn NC State screwing up my travel plans LOL.

I just found out my son will graduate from college in December. With changes of majors we were thinking it would be a year and a half later. I had planned to book a celebration cruise for him and my wife in May 2018 but now he will probably be working. I am booked on Rhapsody out of Tampa Feb 4th. Its about a week before final payment is due. I am considering getting him a cabin on this cruise. Its about $1600 with the current sale. Am I better off waiting until after final payment to book this room? We got a great rate on our room. This is almost double what we paid for my wife and I. I don't mind spending the money. Do prices generally drop after final payment date?

Hope so. Thanks for the heads up. Might be able to book my May 2018 Oasis cruise onboard in Feb if its true.

Thanks for this. Because of you post I checked my packages on Rhapshody Feb 4. They are advertising 30% off. Saved me $100. Its a short term sale. I checked it last night. When I went to book it this morning there was a countdown clock running in the website header. Its sitting at 15 hours now. RCCL girl on the phone told me the sale was over until I told her about the extension and countdown timer.

I read a rather long thread on this topic over at cruise critic. The free select packages are being honored and they have a special upgrade price of $10 per day that you can get on the ship. There was quite a bit of confusion with different people being told different upgrade amounts. Many got email confirmation fro RC confirming the $10 price that they are taking on the ship with them. You might want to call and ask.

I doubt that includes gratuity. You usually don't see it until you take it to the check out screen. They were listing Premium at 44 and Ultimate at 46 on my cruise yesterday.
