Just need one night near Port Everglades. Flying in around 8pm, so just need a bed. Never been to Ft Lauderdale before. One adult.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I love the art auctions. I love Disney, and bought two prints last cruise that were about half the price they would be at Walt Disney World.
But you have to know your prices and budget going in. -

Order a drink at the Bionic Bar (I have done it, but I no longer drink hard liquor, plus they aren't good drinks anyway, real people make better and more creative ones!).
Willingly book an inside or oceanview stateroom
Wait in line at Starbucks
Ill never book a cruise through Sharla and everything goes smoothly. Royal chartered our first cruise 6 months from sailing, then 2 cancelled for COVID. Just yesterday Virgin Voyages cancelled my January 2022 cruise.
I think I'm the reason Sharla gave up drinking, or maybe why she'll restart soon.- cruisellama, Hagar, Sharla and 1 other

@alamode123Super funny about the gym. My brother is a gym-a-holic and the first thing he asked was does RCG have a gym. I cancelled my membership over 3 years ago at home but will hit every gym on vacation. That 30 mins makes me feel better about everything I am consuming.
I've got until January to lose the weight I will gain on my next cruise, 8 nights on the Odyssey.
Not doing well so far, but I'm trying. -
Never enter the gym.
Never go without ultimate dining plan.
Never act like I'm better than anyone, especially staff. I go out of my way to compliment them on their hard work.- MommaMcLovin, cruisellama, WAAAYTOOO and 3 others

OHIP Out-of-Country coverage is very limited. Out-of-Country inpatient services up to $400 per day and outpatient services up to $50 per day.
Not any more. Ford killed that before the pandemic.

I think it's more about the "these people" versus "those people" and the segregation/ nose in the air mentality.
Who and to a greater degree "how" all the policing will be done? Elevators????????...Dining Rooms???????
This does not sound like a good way to drop thousands of dollars....I don't need a cruise that bad.
There's an easy and free solution if anyone feels bad about not getting access to everywhere. Hopefully that's the reason some decide to get vaccinated.

Like any company, Disney charges what they can get away with.
The reason Disney charges so much more for a very similar experience, with far fewer choices of restaurants, ships, itineraries, rooms etc. is because they have the most zealot fans that believe anything Disney is better than anything that isn't.- Tricia Smith and micahd

Try Aviation Gin from Ryan Reynolds.

Someone posted a picture of the liquors available on another site. A few harder to find items and a few things at a good price, but for the most part I could get everything at the local liquor store for the same or cheaper.
Guess you're not Canadian.

Can you purchase insurance if you so desire?
For travelling, yes. I have it already through work.
You can also buy insurance for stuff not covered by the government. Dentists, eye glasses, massage therapists, prescription drug coverage etc. Again, covered by my work, but not everyone is.

I think they are going to call you and ask. Please clear something up for me, is the Canadian government not allowing you out of the country or telling you if you leave you will not have health insurance?
If you leave Canada you don't have health insurance elsewhere. Canada doesn't have health insurance. It's a government run health system, paid for by taxes.

I hope your contract lasts to the January 15th cruise. Love to see you again.

Royal is doing its best in a very fluid situation. They have to put safety first, because the last thing they need is more bad covid press.
The higher the vaccination rate, and therefore the more infrequent the new variants, the sooner things will get closer to normal. -

Yes but still within their 14 day window of full effect. I am in the camp that these could be false positives.
Depends if they were antibody tests (less accurate) or PCR tests (highly accurate).

Glad to see you are doing well. With the reports of positive crew members I feared the worst for you.

Can't speak for Mariner, but for sure it was free on Anthem (might have required a reservation due to limited space, but no charge). Just a guess, but I imagine Royal would want to keep it consistent across the fleet to avoid confusion.
Royal doing something consistent across the fleet? Why start now?

Looking at the Izumi menu on my January Odyssey cruise, and it's a set price. One starter, 2 mains and a dessert.
Has anyone tried this out yet?
