@Sharla can you change a refundable to non refundable anytime before final payment?

You can- however that doesn't mean the price will be lower. It is still at the prevailing rate any time you do a price change. Recently the prices have increased so much closer to sailing that switching to non-refundable deposit will not help you at all.

Have you seen the ships..... Rooms look like a glorified college dorm room, 1 what looks to be a maybe 12'x20' pool, 1 small hot tub that you could maybe fit 12 people in.. positioned for the Caribbean. Big Big Big swing and a miss.

Other parts of the ship maybe nice, food may be good, no kids would be nice, but the overall theme for me is a biggggg NOPE.

The food on Virgin is fantastic, and nothing is considered specialty, it's all included. I loved sailing on them. They aren't for everyone, that's for sure, but in some ways they really blow everyone else away.

The easiest way to figure out if there's a price drop is to do a fake booking on the Royal Caribbean website

Wrong. The easiest way is to ask your TA to do it. But if you book on your own, then @Matt is correct.

Just make sure you're comparing apples to apples such as exact category, if you have refundable or non-refundable, and if you've added gratuities or travel protection.

we used MEI, but I think we booked this on our own and then moved it to MEI.  There was not any OBC when we booked and MEI typically doesn’t give OBC and our TA hasn’t mentioned it, it’s just weird that it showed up.

not a big deal, just curious.  When this happened in the past a lot of fellow board users were seeing it and no one really had an answer then either.

The agent probably pulled it into a consortia group, free OBC for you! I do this all the time for clients, and I don't even necessarily tell them because if the OBC doesn't show up then it looks bad. But it's a nice surprise for most people!
