If you don't have reservations you can still watch the show from different areas. You can stand to the right and left side of the theater. If you go to deck 15 in the middle between el loco fresh and the ping pong tables. The view has a little obstruction but you can still watch it. Wherever you can see and or look down into the aqua theater you will be able to see the show. 

Unpopluar opinion... I have found that wearing a mask in the casino helps with the smell and allergies. I wish it they would go non smoking permanently. 

Terminal A

I know because we did it wrong last month.  The Symphony will be at Terminal "A".  When you are 2/3 of the way to the terminal the road curves to the left.  If you go straight you will go into the truck terminal that does not have an outlet.  I was in a Lyft car that had not been there, and we have to drive the wrong way on a one-way street to get out.

They will have a sign pointing you where to go on the promenade.  They used the On Air Club, i believe, while we were there.  I saw the line of people doing that on the first day.  I preferred to sit in a lounge chair by the pool and do it on the app.  I've heard of people doing it in the terminal, before they walked on the ship.  I didn't try that.

I received this from the concierge for next week's (eastern) sailing. It may be of use to others, but it is subject to change, of course.

Haven’t been on Symphony, but my favorite spot to read on Allure/Oasis/Harmony is either the balcony, solarium, or suite sun deck

All righty then. Amazon just delivered The Stowaway based on what you guys said above. 10 days from now on the Odyssey. What is best upper deck reading spot on that ship?

The Solarium is a good option as well as the comfy, shaded, green and pink circular loungers on the running track. Two70 would be my favorite spot on Odyssey to read a book though!

For a lighter mystery series, try the Patricia Fisher cruise ship mysteries by Steve Higgs.
I like to sit in the loungers or Adirondack chairs between the mini golf and the ice cream dispenser (deck 15 portside aft). 

For an indoor space, if the weather throws a hissy fit, I really like Dazzles. Lots of light and a nice view to look at over the top of your book. The only thing is that it's not always available as it's sometimes used for activities or functions so you need to check the compass. 

Another place is on Deck 5 behind the Aqua Theater. There will be joggers going by but it is so peaceful watching the wake.  I agree with Central Park.  Depending on the time of day but the Solarium can be a place to enjoy reading also.
 

The library on Symphony was pretty empty last time I saw it.  No books either.
I found a couple of spots that were good for reading.....just to the left of El Loco Fresh is a covered area overlooking where people zip line and Boardwalk far below.  At the far end of Central Park there are two alcoves with a "balcony" and two chairs above it.  It's technically on Deck 9 but can be a quiet place to relax and read and enjoy Central Park from one floor above.  (But don't tell anyone, I don't want to lose my favorite place).  

Haven’t yet been on Symphony but I do the same! 🤣 For my last cruise, I chose and recommend The Woman in Cabin 10 by Ruth Ware. I will get a copy of the Stowaway for next month. Thanks for the tip!

Luggage valet is a program that they used to have where you could send your luggage directly from the ship to the airport.  You would not have to deal with your luggage until you arrived at your final destination airport.  It was a wonderful program that sadly, no longer exists at any of the FL cruise ports (as far as I know).  I think it might still be in effect in Seattle.

I spent one hour calling on Friday to make a payment of $50 balance. The email I received had conflicting information that I owed but yet also said I had no balance. The rep had a hard time trying to figure out where the balance was from. And when he found it he did not have a way to apply yhe payment. He called their IT support and said it was some issue on their "back end." 
On Saturday, the next day, I received an email about non payment and my cruise purchase was canceled. However, my credit card reflected said charge. Of course, this email was sent after they closed. 
On Sunday, I called and spent another hour explaning the whole situation and getting it resolved. Again they had a hard time finding the issue, applying payment and credits. I was told it was  problem on the "back end" and this time with the accounting department. 
Good Luck. I hope you get this resolved easier and sooner than I did. I think now I am convinced of using a TA from now on. 

There is a day on the cruise where they put them on sale.  IIRC, the price is around $20-30. 

I have the same problem. Im missing Liberty and Vision. I was able to get my Mariner this past October.

I'm on February 5 Symphony sailing, Eastern Caribbean with the same itinerary as the OP. Original itinerary was Labadee, San Juan, St. Thomas, CocoCay. RCCL has confirmed our new itinerary is Labadee!!!, Cruising, St. Thomas, CocoCay. I half expect our St. Thomas to become St. Maarten if our Covid % is too high.

I'm on the Eastern Carribean on 2/11.   Removing Labadee and San Juan, PR and we are now going to St. Thomas, Puerto Plata, DR and St. Maartin.
