100% of the population doesn't necessarily need to be vaccinated. Ideally, they are shooting (bad pun) for 70%in order to achieve herd immunity (virus runs out of people to infect.)

In less than a heartbeat I'd go!

Over $3,600 for a balcony on Enchantment's 12 nighter out of Baltimore in November next year...I fell out of my chair while weeping! Junior Suites are sold out already.

Whelp, there's cancellation #3, goodbye Lady G

It is certainly terrible, no one can possibly argue that. But given the incubation period, it is highly unlikely she contracted it from the ship. The timing of this is really suspect given what's going on right now...

I barely recall :( I guess I would say snorkeling and walking around all of Coco Cay back in....le sigh...last November. And side sad note and word of caution, don't click on past cruises - your cancelled ones show up and make you weepy! My two are there for this year, hoping the third doesn't end up there as no points awarded

Still clinging to that strand of hope for Nov 9 on Grandeur, I just said screw it and booked my 1st cabana at Labadee, price is just too good (and I'm promoting social distancing...I'm a responsible citizen after all!)

Glimmer of hope, I received my cruise documents for Grandeur on November 9th! Now let's see how CDC plays lifting the do not sail order. I think they are getting just the amount of pressure at just the right time.

Hope there's room for Grandeur in say...November (holding out hope...)
-
I'm 40 minutes from Bayonne, so that's nice. I have an Amtrak booked to go to and from Baltimore November 9th....holding out hope. If it doesn't pan out, I'll have to either cancel the train too and get credit to use another time (2045 at this rate,) or book a hotel and see Baltimore...and then self-quarantine at my desk for 14 days. Being essential personnel it fun :-/

Well, if they are starting with short cruises, I guess my Nov 9th 11 nighter on Lady G will officially be my 3rd cruise cancelled this year. 3 strikes, I'm out

C'mon, November 10th is a ways out, let Grandeur sail damnit!!!! 3 lost cruises this year, this really gives me the Red Ass

With what’s happening in Florida right now I’d be amazed if any cruises sail out of Florida at all in 2020.
I tend to agree. Aug 23rd was supposed to go to port canaveral, but I think there's a chance we might just go to bermuda and coco cay, skipping nassau (I'm totally ok with this!)

It is on my August 24th sailing as well

I believe they are waiting for CDC to give them a decisive answer as to whether they are going to extend the US do not sail order past July 24th before they make an announcement.

August 23rd is looking further and further away...looks like I could be missing my 2nd cruise, 1st time I'd be on Oasis. Yes, we have to make some noise somehow, this is insane. And, if we have to self-quarantine when we get back or 14 days, I can't go anyway, I can't do my job remotely. This f$&king bites.

Love vitamin water, drink it almost every morning at home. I love the freestyle machines, pick vitamin and add pink lemonade flavor to it (I do it before bed to have something good in the middle of the night!)

Celebrity Cruises will let vaccinated passengers not wear masks and passengers can go on their own shore excursions

If you are in the US, and got vaccinated, you get a slightly-bigger-than-a-credit-card CDC card stating you got the vaccine, along with the type and lot number. It is a legal document that serves as proof (that's why the passport thing never came to fruition.) When you get the card, take a picture of it on both sides in case you lose it. I've run more than my share of clinics...
Conversely, its interesting people have been stealing the cards and selling them! We had to really ramp up security :x
