I would love to get questions like your husband's at an interview, but I'm not great on the fly. I would hope I would be quick witted enough that my answers would be: Crazy Train by Ozzy, keep it to help wash the dogs, and competitive ballroom dancing - tradition would have me follow as the lady, but DH says I back lead. ??

All of these happen during breaks for me with school and will celebrate milestones in said schooling since I'm getting toward the final phase.
If they all go off without a hitch, I'll be Diamond for the second leg of the holiday B2B and Diamond Plus at the end of the Alaska cruise; the one on Oasis will be my first Royal cruise (not for a lack of trying over the last 18 months!). These points will apparently really stack up with the bonus and because I'm cruising solo.

A woman in the windjammer on boarding day lunch, putting the ladle from the Alfredo sauce to her mouth to taste before putting on her pasta and then putting it back in the container...strange and gross!!!!

@San Diego GarrettI have seen this at other buffets and it is like a car crash.....I can't stop staring. I saw a guy scratch his butt, smell his fingers and continue on in the Windjammer on Mariner. My travel companion and I decided to take Jamie's Italian up on their reduced lunch offer right after that. But I manage a restaurant so things like that aren't weird to me.

We were on an early December sailing once, right after the beautiful decorations had been put up, and observed a woman walk up to the elaborate gingerbread village, and break off a piece of one of the roofs to eat.   As if we don't get fed enough on the ship.  lol  
On another cruise, we ate breakfast in the Windjammer at the same time that an older gentleman did...in his robe and slippers.  ?  We got to enjoy his eccentricity 2 separate days.
If you were on an Alaskan cruise back in May 2016, and saw a tall, skinny teenage boy eat three plates heaped full of donuts for breakfast in the Windjammer (27 by his count)....yes, we did teach him to eat a decent meal.  And no, we weren't eating with him.  He finally fessed up long after the cruise.  ?
Hmmmm.  All our strange encounters involve food. ?
 

American has no issue changing your seats on a whim. That's got nothing to do with Air2Sea

I guess I will admit that I have just given up trying to track anything.
Every once in a while I will ask @michelleto look into a refund that I am anticipating but I pretty much just leave it up to fate.  If they owe me something I assume I will get it, eventually.
The only refund that I am eagerly watching is the one where 4 FCC's (~$10K) are supposed to be refunded from a cancelled SY cruise.  So far, nothing on that one.  But all the others ?  Who knows....

I had confirmed seats for 3 months.  I picked them out with air2sea at the time I booked the air fare and they showed up for 3 months in AA website under the reservation and in their app.  Then on the day of checkin...I suddenly didn't have a seat and just a message "please see gate attendant when you arrive at airport".
The 'equipment' never changed, it was always the same air craft type, we picked the first 5 seat assignments (the other 3 where not booked/assigned at the time we purchased and 'locked' it in.

That's complete BS if they don't allow them to sail for that reason.

I have no issue with anyone that wants to wear a mask. My personal belief that its largely theater doesnt mean that you dont have the right to wear one undisturbed and if you are right and its effective, good for you.

I respect peoples choices. If you feel that you need to wear a mask for any reason, no disrespect from me and it wouldnt warrant a second look from me. But if you cut in line in front of me at the Windjammer, its on!!!!....lol

Honestly, I only answer the questions that have some relevance....like what kinds of drinks I want in my room, etc.  I think the esoteric ones are pointless.  Yes, I understand that the Genie [might] use the answer to get a feel for your personalities/attitudes but I just think they're silly.

I’m going the other way on this one.  The Asian in me has gotten used to wearing masks for every epidemic that has showed up in recent years—swine flu, avian flu, H1N1, SARS, etc. I’ll probably be wearing a mask for a while whenever in a public setting.  I’d respect those who don’t like to wear masks and I hope my choice to wear one is also respected.

Between the loss of the Seafood Tower and the cancellation of the cupcake class I may just cancel my whole trip....

I find it easier to use the cruise planner on my computer because I hate having to fiddle with the tiny screen and keyboard on my phone, especially when I have to check in all of my technologically-challenged family. 

The mask mandate really makes cruising more of a hassle but the pros outweigh the cons. IMHO this will never go away and as much as I want to tape the mouth shut of the next person that says “the new norm” it’s seems to be a true statement. Thankfully we live in Florida….. and yeah. 

Never knew that.  I’ve had a yahoo email account since emails became a thing.  I’ve never had an issue with it ever, anywhere.?‍♀️?‍♀️  Who knew?!?!!
