I have a theory, lacking many use cases, that GTY bookings may work in conjunction with and influence RoyalUp. Similar to what you describe, I have seen upcoming sailings with a large number of suites available suddenly become sold out. I wonder if when the number of unassigned GTY suites meets the unsold inventory, they pull the suites and start RoyalUp?

Does anyone know if Maritime Attorney (Ship Chaser) Michael Winkleman has reached out to all the passenger on the Glory yet..... LMAO.....
Based on his previous exploits, there is an unconfirmed report that he arrived at the dock just ahead of the Glory on her second attempt

Yeah, I got caught in a price update. I was on the phone with a Royal agent and we figured that out.
(Now here's a conspiracy theory ... was that a bait & switch? This has also happened to me last Saturday for another sailing.)
I have seen unexpected price updates also. At least in one case I recently observed, the price jumped up a bit based on availability. For example, there were at least 2 rooms available in a category. Later that day when I went back, there was only one left and the price was 10% higher.

We have this suite in feb 2021, and are looking forward to your observations and experiences!

After reading the description of the video again( Thank you @YOLO ), I can't help but wonder if the grandfather had such profound color blindness that he can't distinguish between clear and shaded, what motivated him to lead the child accross the room to the one open window?

There has been much discussion of this matter, but we still have not seen the real evidence or heard any particulars from the investigation. They filed charges, and held a preliminary hearing but no details were released. I wonder what more law enforcement knows about this than has been made public. They will prosecute based on what they can legally prove. I can't help but think there is additional circumstantial or anecdotal evidence that they can't prove beyond a reasonable doubt. Perhaps I can be a skeptic, but I always believe there is more to the story.

Wow that's a big difference. Odd that RC seems to incentivize 2 person use of 2 BR cabins. Wouldn't have thought pricing would work like that... Those cabins look great though. I am staying in one for the first time next year. Though I have toured them several times I have never cruised in one...
I agree that, on the surface, it wouldn't make sense, but when you consider the percentage off 3rd and 4th guests , you can add guests over 21 for less than the cost of the drink package in some cases. Add in the additional benefits and RCL is ahead with 2 in the suite.

Did you end up upgrading to Star for March 15th?
We did not, we are staying in Sky Class for the B2B in March. It was tempting, but we upgraded to Star for the 10/2020 Allure sailing...and the 2/2021 Anthem ... I'm seeing a trend

I had the same issue for my last sailing. I found that the link appeared after forcing a refresh. In my case, I selected another reservation, and then switched back. At that point, the 'view setsail pass' selection was there.

@DDaley I’m intrigued by this Painkiller you speak of! Any idea which bar would most likely know the drink?
From my recollection, I have seen it on the Boleros Drink Menu. Of course, after seeing the name, I *had* to try one. The name made me think of Trader Vic's 'Fog Cutter". As he described (paraphrased) "fog cutter, heck, after 2 of these, you won't even see the stuff".

Yes. In the past, we have heard from the concierge approximately 10 days prior to the sailing. You can correspond with them at this time for Coastal Kitchen Reservations, Cabanas at the Labadee suites beach, etc.

From my experience, the timing can vary. The wow sale is just one of their promotions. They seem to cycle through a series... albeit randomly sometimes. My favorite is the double up promotion during the time of year that they are running the 60% off second guest. With that, you receive instant savings as well as an onboard credit. Also, be sure to explore other discounts: resident. Senior, etc. They don't promote those and when they apply those discounts can be relatively significant.

In no particular order:
1. Sailing with a line other than RCL
2. NOT getting the beverage package
3. Waiting to get onboard before making shore excursion reservations
4. NOT checking my casino points and debarking a few points short of a free cruise
5. Not checking the school vacation calendar prior to booking
6. Waiting way too long to find this site

Recently I added a second week to a previously booked cruise to create a B2B. While my selected category was available, the same room was not. In direct contact with a RCL agent, they waitlisted me in both directions for the 2 cabins should one open up. With that said, I dont have a formal confirmation of that status, nor has either cabin become available. I guess the answer is maybe. It couldn't hurt to ask.

My favorite is the Marriott Biscayne Bay. The bay view rooms face the cruise port, and they have a pre-package available that includes drinks (2), breakfast and a ride to the terminal on cruise day.

Aruba: beach day

We have always been fans of Baby Beach, it is clear, shallow, and has snorkeling opportunities. It is on the southeast point of the island and is a 20 minute cab ride from the port. The popular Eagle and Palm beaches are closer on the other side of the island and are near more services along the low-rise and high-rise hotels.
