When 50% of every cruise is first time cruisers I doubt they really care. These loyal customers are much more costly to them.

Absolutely agree with this. How many times have you heard people as they get older say it's not as good as it used to be. I would bet a lot more times than the opposite.

As with many things, with more platforms with which to report (message boards, podcasts, cruise-related YouTube channels,  it's reported more.   It used to be that nobody would have known anything about these incidences unless they were actually on the sailing, and then they probably didn't have anywhere to announce it to the world.

This would be like an airline intentionally making the experience worse for 100 people in economy class to encourage them to all buy the 20 seats in business class.

Shows like frozen in time are more about the imagery and individual performances. They are not supposed to have a discernible or absolute story Line. Just enjoy it for what it is.

Thousands of people all ringing in the first hour the sales went live even though they are on for 10 days will clog the lines.

No one will take a review seriously if you have blatant lies on there.
 
While you may have had some issues I have read plenty of reports on this exact cruise on other sites who while willing to criticise what wasn't to their liking rolled with it and still were positive about other aspects.

Most South Pacific cruises on Ovation out of Sydney are doing overnighters at Port Vila this season.

Yep statistics like that prove nothing. However the 2020 excess mortality figures are pretty clear cut. The world including cruising needed a pause to get things right and people protected but now everyone has had the chance to do that we should be moving on and cruising should be no different.

My daily coffee is either Sidamo Guji or Ethiopian Harrar, both natural process, bought as whole, green beans. I roast them in batches of 12 ounces (just to full city roast, just as first crack dies down) so the roasted beans are always between 2 and 12 days old, stored in special containers that allow them to outgas CO2. I grind them immediately before brewing. My water is a consistent 212F, and my drip brewer simulates a pour-over. It's the best coffee in the world.
I fully expect to hate the coffee on my first cruise, much as I hate coffee almost everywhere except my house.

My kids wont eat anywhere but the MDR, even if the menu isn't great for them that night they can always stop and get some pizza or duck into windjammers for a quick snack. They just love the vibe.
 

I hope parents don't get their children vaccinated for ANY reason.

You have to remember you are speaking to the converted on this forum. The wider world out there sees things differently and how things are presented to them and for a great many cruises are on the black list. It's like (for example) trying to get a staunch Democrat to agree with even the worlds best policy if put forward by a Republican (or vice versa) or an antivaxer agreeing to get the jab even if 99% of the worlds doctors or scientists were to push it.
Social Media has only mad this worse.

Most Doctors? I currently work in a hospital in Sydney so not a great expert but my brother is a Doctor working in University Hospital San Antonio. He reports twice as many re infections than vaccinated in ICU. Now consider how many people have had Covid against how many vaccinated. MOST of mine and his colleagues do not give the advice you are stating as truth.
