    I don't know how anyone else feels or thinks, but personally I think a response within 2 hours on a blog forum complaint is fantastic.  Yes thanks to @Xaa for highlighting.
    I would give this company another chance, if it was me.

    But one thing I think we do know, they will NOT set specific cabins aside for Guarantee use, they will base it on numbers sold. 
    In other words the combination of cabins available will be a certain number when they have hit that number be it by cabin selection sales + guarantee sales, they will close that category for sales.  That is why you can be watching a sailing that has 10-12 cabins available and the all of a sudden the next day that category is sold out, seems awful strange, when that number hadn't moved for weeks.  Good reason not to delay when you can't make up your mind on which cabin to choose and keep putting it off.

    That's a fair point. Obviously there's less regular need to move between the adults-only area and the waterpark than the waterpark and the splash park. 
    But it seems to be a lot more complicated than that. For example, what then do you do with all the Boardwalk balcony rooms? That's a couple hundred rooms that would look out over the adults area. I don't think the adults looking to get away from children would enjoy having dozens of kids in rooms above them staring down and making noise, and you definitely can't make all those rooms adults only. So, my guess is putting the adults area there was an impossibility that would've demanded a redesign of the whole ship. 
    They spend years designing these things, so there's rhyme and reason to everything and logistical things we don't know about.

    I'm pretty sure the Chops breakfast is not included for Jr Suites,  it's for Grand Suite and above.

    My guess is they'll restart Haiti in June, as long as there are no additional escalations of violence. The decision to stop was more PR than actual safety concerns to begin with.

    This little corner of Haiti has prospered from the presence of Royal and the Labadee private destination.  Somewhere around 400 locals are employed.  Royal built a school in the local village.  Housing tends to be better built with real construction material.   This community is not your typical Haiti village and they know that.
    Like any small town with a large employer the community tends to be very pro-company.  
    I can see why Royal would want to maintain that sentiment.  It's in their long term interest to see the local community gets some relief and their standing maintained.
    The local community must be really feeling the lack of ship visits.  Their livelihoods once snatched away from them just like it was during the pandemic.  Innocent victims out of work facing incredible hardship supporting families.  All thanks to distant gang violence.

    I have done Miami to Port Canaveral with no issue. I used a one-way car rental and drove myself.  I wouldn't consider flying and the Brightline is too out of the way and could be subject to delays.

    It varies by port. They still had 10:30 at PC for my Wonder cruise 2 weeks ago (and boarding seems to usually begin before 10:30 at PC).

    Actually Air2Sea is a Consolidator.
    "Consolidators have contracts with airlines to buy airfare in bulk. They are negotiated at a lower rate, letting the consolidators sell them for less than the publicly listed fares for the same flight"
    That is part of the problem in that even when you pick flights from them, they are only a soft reservation and normally not actually ticketed until around actual final payment date.

    A save for later feature in the cart would be nice.
    I always make my purchases separate though just for the ease of tracking refunds later.

    With the huge gap between the old and new flight, you're well within the typical airline rules for being able to change it for free.

    For a September sailing, assuming you did not make final payment yet, you are still free to change flights and you would not be charged a change fee by Air2Sea.

    Could improvements be made on royal's end to improve booking....YES.
    Maybe try contacting a government agency and see what they say. I'm no lawyer but I don't think there is anything to be done. Next time do the research ahead of time or use a travel agent (a good travel agent is free to use and is extremely knowledge for people who aren't).

    Room selection is a good reason to use a travel agent, as already suggested. A TA can read deck plans that show which rooms are Pullman, which you state you want to avoid.

    No other posters are missing the point. You had an interior cabin, it had Pullmans which according to you didn't meet your needs, you think Royal should have done something to improve your situation. The rest of us are just pointing out why your expectation is misguided.

    There are no next steps and no one for you to contact that can resolve the problem you have created for yourself. I realize this is not what you want to hear but it is the truth.

    I disagree that there is no way to identify staterooms with a sofa bed. Deck plans show which rooms have a convertable sofa vs. Pullmans. Do your homework before booking. Is it quick and easy during the booking process? No. Is it impossible to get the information in advance? Also no.
    I would also note that the implications that Royal should not allow a room with Pullmans to be booked with children younger than "permitted" to use a Pullman or that Royal is not "accomodating a family with young children" because of the existence of Pullmans as the lower cost option are both invalid. If you want the cheaper stateroom, the children can use the regular beds and the parents can use the Pullmans. We did exactly this when our youngest child was seven but very small - regular beds were Mom and youngest, Pullmans were Dad and older child.

    Be interested in seeing some specific plans. 
    We have been disappointed in the inconsistency of ships Royal has been sailing from San Juan.
    Last time there in Jan of 2022 we were changed from original Freedom booking to Explorer (close to same).  We are having to skip Jan-Feb 2023 and Voyager would not be to bad.  But 2024 Jewel just doesn't cut it for us.  In 2020 just before Covid they also did a ship change down grading us to Jewel.
    San Juan is a wonderful embarkation port, just sometimes the choice of ship seams to leave a little to be desired for me.  JMHO
