SpeedNoodles got a reaction from lovecruising!!! in Norwegian cancels sailings through the end of October
No. I think it's totally unrelated since we have a different virus situation here, along with being under the control of the CDC.

SpeedNoodles reacted to twangster in CDC Wants Our Feedback
Like it or not there is a lot of evidence the current CDC position on cruising is the right thing to do at this time.
MLB tried playing games with a lot of protocols in place, no fans present and masks required for all non-player positions yet we are starting to see outbreaks among MLB personnel. Between the two teams, the TV crew and the stadium crew there are probably something like 200-300 people present in a very large stadium. If they can't do that without an outbreak how on earth is a cruise ship supposed to avoid an outbreak?
If there is one valid purpose for those areas in the US that are pushing the limits and reopening a lot it's that the world can learn from it. If any country or region tried to do the same they'd face the same results - more cases and more death.
The good news is the death rate isn't climbing like it did with the March case count spike, at least not yet. If we can learn how to keep the death rate down while the case count is high that's a good thing.

SpeedNoodles reacted to Sharla in What are thoughts on casinos when cruising starts again?
The reason I don't spend time in casinos on Royal Caribbean ships is the smoking. And on a lot of ships it wafts up into the Royal Promenade, which is even worse! I'm all for smoke- free casinos!

SpeedNoodles got a reaction from Jax in First cruise ever - 12/17/20 Brilliance of the Seas
I've found that their website highlights the ships pretty well as far as finding out what's available on each ship - just go to the website, and at the top (or in the menu bar, depending on if you are mobile or not, the desktop site offers a better experience, imo, even if it's the same information), and next to "find a cruise" click "ships". Find the ship that you're interested in learning about and then scroll down to "Things To Do". The Cruise Planners offer details, but I like to know which bars and restaurants, activities, etc, are on each ship and these offer a bit of detail.
Welcome to the forums!

Yes, there is a market for them. This is a really interesting interview that I heard on Cruise Radio Podcast a few months back.

We were on the Summit pre-revolution upgrade and some of the officers noted that items in Michaels club (suite lounge) were being offered to the concierge crew. But they needed to remove when they departed the ship. One of the items up for grabs was a piano.
