Same here, she has certain outfits pre-picked out for photo nights, usually formal nights, so I just wear what she tells me.

Just got off the Adventure.  We typically always eat late.  Our earliest dining was the Chef's table.  We traveled with my husbands family, 1st time cruising for some, but for all 1st time with Royal, except us.  At 6 on the 1st night I went up to the WJ and made what Italians call an anti pasta plate to eat on the balcony while we got ready, our cabins were connected, the next thing I know is the plate I made for the 2 of us was being devoured by his siblings.  They all asked where did you get this?  WJ!
Big mistake on my part because for the next 7 nights I became the waitress.  Lesson learned was I would make my late night sandwiches in the WJ, plus the desserts on a separate plate and put it in the fridge b4 they showed up.  (Nothing like a Prosciutto with cheese sandwich at midnight with a small bowl of pasta salad)
One time I was on the elevator (crowded) and passengers remarked that are you having dinner in your cabin since I had 2 plates.  I said, no.  This plate is for cocktail hr on our balcony, and this 1 is for midnight so I don't have to wait in line at Sorrentos with their minimal selection.  All of them were 1st time cruisers, and 1 turned to me and said, OMG you HAVE to be a veteran, because nobody that is a 1st timer would think to do that.
Funny thing is we got back so tired and still full that I usually never ate what I brought back for us alone.  Usually is the key word.  I HIGHLY recommend that the night they have Mongolian, go and get it.  To me left over cold Chinese food is great.  I converted it from the plate to 2 bowls and placed it in the fridge.  My husband and I came back to the room @ midnight opened the fridge, went on the deck and ate it.  He made me laugh because he said I love you soooo much.  My response was WHY, thinking it had something to do with the ambiance of the moon and the ocean.  NOPE..  His answer was because only you could think 6 hrs ahead of time to know exactly what would make this trip even better...cold lomein to absorb all this alcohol.

This is close to my perfect cruise, if it was legal to have a cruise to no where I would book it for 7 sea days.
We are going on Harmony in October and only "Plan" to get off in one port, possibly also Labadee, we plan on staying on the ship.

Hope this Is all cleared up before Nov!.....I am sure San Juan does as well as they are losing a lot of money.....article I read its about $400,000 per ship in fees and revenue they miss out on...and while Harmony is a great ship...I would be somewhat disappointed with 2 stops on a 7 day cruise as well...so hopefully this ends sooner than later..for everyone involved!

Those are acceptable for your guys. In the end dress for yourself, not for others. If it's allowed by RC, others have no right telling you what to wear. If others can't enjoy their meal because people are not wearing what "they" think they should, that's on them.
    Happy cruising!

@allyb  I am just now seeing this but in addition to being saying "significant other" you will also need to be living at the same address.
When I called royal it took about 5 minutes to get her a crown and anchor number, and her shared status. I would also recommend calling the Crown and Anchor Society line and not the Royal main line, it might make things go a little smoother.

Never put your address on the tags. Name and phone number only.  Reason being:  Oh look they are going on a cruise for a week. We have their address. Lets pay that house a visit.  Or posting on Facebook. Look we are boarding the ship.  See you in a week or so.  Don`t make a crooks life easy.

We have been all over the Caribbean and this is my personal list of “stay on/ get off” ports:
    1. Nassau- stay on the ship. Mostly dumpy with few exceptions at the mega resorts for day passes.
    2. Cozumel- Get off. Lots to see and do. Great snorkeling, diving, beaches and a safe downtown. Also- rent a Jeep and tour the island perimeter road stopping at light house.
    3. Falmouth- stay on the ship. Not safe, dumpy, constantly hassled for tip money. Dunn’s river falls just not worth the BS.
    4. San Juan- get off. Great walking downtown and shopping. Fort is pretty neat to check out.
    5. Labadee- get off. Great beach day. Dragon line zip line is great! Safe & fun.
    6. Coco Cay- get off. Our personal favorite so far. Lots to do, awesome pool!
    7. St Maarten- get off. Nice walk to the downtown shopping from ship. Nice beach and bars/food service located on beach! Maho beach is an experience and a drink at the sunset bar is a must.
    8. St Thomas- get off. Bus to fabulous Meagan’s bay beach!!
    9. Costa Maya- get off. Pool area right off pier makes for a nice day. Never left that area so can’t comment on the rest of the port. Mainland Yucatán is always a roll of the dice though IMHO.

Basically someone didnt watch their child and was careless resulting in the childs death.  Instead of taking responsibility the family is going to try and cash in on this horrible situation.  If they sue I hope the judge throws it out and charges the family with ALL court costs.

I don’t believe you can reserve a specific type of table through the Cruise Planner. We were just lucky that on the first evening at 6:00 PM a window table was available. Once we had that table, we just asked if we could keep that table for the rest of the cruise. They too would prefer for continuity to keep you at the same table as much as possible so you have the same server team, especially if your reservations are around the same time each evening.
I would maybe ask before being seated that first night if a window table is available. You might be able to stop by the MDR on your assigned level and request one earlier on embarkation day... can’t hurt to try!

The grandfather had to physically lift her up to the railing .... it's not like she "happened" upon the open window .... even if the window was closed, she still would've gotten hurt falling to the deck floor ..... tragic?  Absolutely.  Royal's fault?  I think not.  Grandfather's (and any other family member) fault?  As painful as it is to admit.... yes

Thats normal for most customer service depts in 2019 though.  I have went round and round with AT&T for the last 3 months and promised 4 different pricing discounts and every single one fell through.  Most people dont have any clue what they are talking about because no one cares anymore.  No pride taken in their jobs, they just answer the phone and get paid.  I agree they should have handled it differently, Im just saying its 2019 and common sense no longer exists.

Perhaps. I last worked in front line CS 7 years ago. If we gave out wrong information (and it happened - I did quality assurance for our team and caught agents giving out wrong information from time to time), we would get a friendly reminder, then a lecture, then a write up, then fired. We did fire a guy who intentionally gave out wrong information. Hard to believe that it's gone downhill that fast.

And I get that the agents were getting pressured by customers to give an answer. They still need to be trained on how to deal with these types of situations.
