I'm going to join in the chorus of Enjoy the sea.  Watch a sunset over the open ocean.  Watch a sunrise over the open ocean.  Meditate  (ok that's a little spiritual, sorry, its a thing I do) on the vastness of the open ocean when you're nowhere close to land.  Its absolutely awe inspiring that I get on every ship I've ever been on.  
Also, find a quiet spot on the ship.  You may have to search for one.  Maybe its the library, maybe its a nook off of the centrum, maybe its the solarium.  Maybe its in one of the specialty restaurants.  Maybe its the art gallery.  No matter the place, find a place to get away that's not your room, and its at least semi quiet.  Have a conversation about your trip, what you've done, who you've met.  Its amazing that in all of the hustle and bustle of a cruise so many forget to just take time to reflect on those experiences.
I'd also suggest, dont miss formal night.  Yes its adult prom.  But I love it.  No matter the cruise line, no matter specialty unlimited dining packages, take time to enjoy formal night.  Take pictures.  You dont get this moment many times anymore as an adult.  So make the most of it.  Get in those suits, get in those sparkly or flowy dresses or pantsuits.  Have FUN at adult prom.  Its 3 hours of your life.  Suck it up for 3 hours and then you can put on your track suit again.  

We were on the Liberty on 2017 when our cruise was extended 5 days by Hurricane Harvey.  Everything on the ship was half price for the extra days, drink packages,  specialty dining,  even spa treatments.  And we were not charged for gratuities on the additional days.  But I can't say for sure that they are handling it in the same way currently. 

Why only 200 passengers?  Where were the rest of the passengers?  Seems like there might be something missing from this story.  ?

The $55 price is the discounted price.  On the cruise planner it states "price shown reflects your discount". 
Whatever price is shown on the cruise planner is what the price will be per day, per person,  before gratuities are added.  I just ignore all their percentages and BOGO hoopla and just look at that price.  If you already got it for $46, keep it.

It really comes down to your expectations for your pictures.
Smart phones are great for convenience and outdoor daylight photography.   Even the best and newest camera phones start to fall apart in darker conditions including ones that tout special dark picture capabilities.
Point and shoot cameras offer portability but typically better performance over even the best and newest phone across the spectrum of photographic conditions experienced on a cruise.  They typically come with the added benefit of a zoom lens.
DSLR or mirrorless will produce the best pictures at the cost of size and lugging them around.
I don't bring my expensive gear on cruises anymore with the exception of bucket list destinations such as Alaska, Hawaii, Europe, Panama, etc.

Both have some good pictures but many of my iPhone pictures were not good enough to post to the second blog and I vowed I'd never do another cruise without something better than a phone.  
Even when I bring all the camera gear I own it doesn't always come on every excursion.  Particularly if I've been somewhere before I'll just take my phone to a beach for example.
At the end of the day the best camera is the one you have with you.

I'm a messy eater, so given the choice, I'd prefer they not serve lobster on formal night. How about doing it on "come-as-you-are" night?
 

It made it taste better too!  That was one of the relatively new balcony cabins on deck 12 of Liberty, right by the spa.  Those new rooms are way up there but the area is very quiet and we would definitely do it again if available.
