I didn't feel guilty at all - just recycle in the plastic bin. But recently just brought an oversized thermo mug with lid and fat straw that I can dump my frozen drinks in. Rinse and re-use.
Added advantage - that frozen drink stays colder, longer.
Assuming the length of time it stays cold is an issue.

The stated policy is 12 per stateroom.
Many have experienced being able to carry 12 per person in separate carry on bags.

I am cruising with friends and we are traveling together to the dock how do we make sure we can get the same check in times?
If you have all of the reservation numbers and basic pertinent information, one person can do all the initial check ins when it opens.
The other option is to ignore the check in times for all but the latest time that somebody gets and show up together for that time. They won't let you board (much) earlier than your assigned time, but you can always be late.

Will plastic straws become the next item to be smuggled aboard ????????
Supplies for upcoming cruises already in hand. I rarely use a straw, but my wife won't drink out of a glass away from home without one (except a wine glass).

Will we be notified of this change from Royal by email or will it show up on our reservation online?
With the extension through May cruises, we received no notification and the only way to see the due date online is by opening up as though you are making a payment.

60 days for those June cruises.
Which means I'll be paying for a June and July cruise in the same month. Ick
July cruise - due April 10
June cruise (wife and her friends, no husbands) - due April 19
May cruise - due April 20

It wouldn't surprise me if they got rid of the "vax only" area concept.

If the ship is >90% vaccinated (95% of adults, close to that number older kids, unvaccinated under 5) what difference does having a vax only area serve?
Time for it to go away (and the silly vaccinated bracelets with it).

That being said, I absolutely love going to Victoria.
The only port on our May trip where we have booked excursions is Victoria. The only replacement port that would be a break even for us if if they added Sitka. Neither Ketchikan nor Icy Strait Point would be.

My advice is if you want something, buy it as soon as you can.
This locks in the price, and guards against a price increase, as well as it selling out.
If there's a better price later, you can cancel and rebook and get the lower price.
And if you later decide that the best price you found is too high for your wallet you can always cancel and take the refund.

Our price threshold is any price we are comfortable paying for a particular item (value is in the eye of the purchaser). As noted above, there is always an option to cancel and repurchase at a lower price.

Midnight and/or midnight chocolate buffet (with ice sculptures). Not that I care about chocolate, but the spread was visually impressive.
Midnight buffet was so much more appetizing than Sorrento's (even at it's best).

The souvenir glasses when you bought a drink.
The three layer drinks coming around at dinner time with the souvenir shooter glasses they came in. We have a nice collection of all the different colors in three different varieties.
We're cruising in May with a group of 10. The plan is to have a pre-cruise party and you can be sure the shooter glasses will be on full display (i.e. in use).

The "WOW" sale that just ended was a bit of a bust but check your prices now under the new "Go Leaps Beyond Your Bounds" sale.
Price dropped $175 per person for aft-facing JS on Southern Caribbean in July (and another $332 lower price if we were willing to give up the aft-facing).
Upgrading from Grand Suite 1BR to Owners Suite 1BR on Southern Carribean in June saved $40 per person for my wife and her friends (with an extra 50% more space).

You either haven't cruised since the restart or you are doing it wrong.
No cruises since the restart. We never have an issue with being stuck in crowded areas, but many (most?) passengers likely have.

And you can order from the kids' menu. Sometimes you just want chicken tenders and french fries!
