barjpoe
That's nothing new Many ago they were a partner with Make a Wish. We have T-shirts that we got and did a walk around the ship for $10. So its time to get some new ones. Are they still with World Wildlife foundation. PPPJJ-GCVAB

Pattycruise
I think it’s great. I’m not thrilled that if they want more family to book it’s 20% off, is that on top of promos or instead of promos.

tjcruisers
Good to hear. Remember our first few royal cruises they had the T-shirt and the walk. One of charities I give to off my pay. Looking forward to it again
Heymarco
Make a wish (MAW) itself is great but Royal's partnership with them feels so self-serving. Royal raises money from us for MAW to give Royal a huge tax break. The they take money from MAW to put people on cruises. Come on.

Why shouldn't RC or any company or individual in the country take advantage of tax rules surrounding 501-3-c organizations? Come on. The alternative is to not raise money for MAW... so who wins in that case? 99% of people who may see the t-shirt/walk and decide to donate the $25 or whatever it costs were unlikely to be planning to donate to MAW in the first place. mom2mybugs and Snotarni

Matt
Companies doing philanthropic work is a good thing. We need more of it. I don't see any downside to their support of MAW, WWF, or any other non-profit. CrznTxn Posted yesterday at 12:47 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 12:47 AM When they instituted MAW on Harmony last month, the wife was onboard and helped the CD with his "auctioneer" skills. She had been looking for a while for a new MAW T-Shirt for a friend and was happy to finally be able to get one. We also contributed to the cause through the purchase of a Harmony OTS model signed by her original Captain who happen to be filling in as temporary that week. We have have friends who's family has directly benefited from MAW and it is one of our favorites. mom2mybugs and WAAAYTOOO
