I have seen the specialty restaurant menus that have coffee with liquor in them. Where else on the ship can you order them? Does the MDR also offer them? Does Café Promenade have a stash of liquor behind the counter I've never noticed, or do the bars also have coffee brewing? Sounds like a good "take it back to the room to plan the next day" drink.

Cafe Promenade on Symphony had the adult coffees. IIRC they had a set menu of drinks so probably had a limited amount of liquor choices just for that. I remember Bailey's Irish Cream. Sorry I didn't take a menu picture.

Does Royal Caribbean Cruise still make towel animals?

Welcome to the forum. Yes they do. Although they used to do it every night, now it is usually every other night or sometimes less. Check out the live blog section...lots of pictures there.

While on the Symphony I booked a next cruise on the Liberty for March 2021. While the Symphony was very nice, one thing I didn't like was having to make a reservation for all the major shows. (Just me, old school, dinosaur - I get it) Does the Liberty still have first come, first served or have they also gone to the all reservations/all the time procedure? Also, it will be interesting to see what the Liberty offers for "The Key." I had it on the Symphony and had mixed feelings about it. I felt like the crew was still not trained well on the Key but I loved it when it was time to disembark. We'll have to see.

We were on the same Symphony sailing and had absolutely  no problem with staff. They all seemed to know the Key program. It is unfortunate you ran into some that were not informed.

Did you take advantage of the departure breakfast? It was one of the best meals of the week!

Rumor has it, Harmony is @Matt's favorite!

So is spaghetti bolognese and it really was not that good. Then again I get my Italian wife's cooking. Instead of the pizza/bagel controversy, maybe we should start a sauce/gravy thread. I've been losing the "gravy is brown" argument for decades now.

    Okay, another thread hijack...I apologize.

    I heard about the fiasco.

what kind of legit deals have you seen?

Welcome to the forum. Sale prices can sometimes get as low as the mid $40's USD. But keep in mind that you can purchase the package at any price you feel comfortable with and if it goes lower, you can cancel your purchase and re-buy it at the lower price. They'll charge you right away and your credit will come in few days. As @rtread said, keep checking your cruise planner, but Black Friday IS usually the best deal.

    Happy sailing.

After dinner we took a walk down to Times Square

Did you run into this guy? Seriously, he's been a staple in NYC for many years. Sings and takes pictures with you for a donation. Goes by the name Naked Cowboy. We've even seen him on some warmer  winter days. He's actually a pretty interesting guy to talk to. Although your girls may have been a little freaked out.

Seriously though..his experience is another reason why you can't assume anyone in Royal customer service has any clue what is going on.  They don't even know that Harmony's schedule got pulled for April 2021 for her 5-year drydock.

We have Harmony booked for 4/18/21

John, didn't JUST book that a week ago? This is amazing.

friends can call today to book the same cruise

So let them call (or their TA) and book it, knowing that they'll get something when it's cancelled. Hey, let's all call and book it....they're busy doing cancellation letters anyway, right??
