Taking DocLC's advice.  I view my account on my interactive TV program and thinking ultimate "drunk" package next time.  ?

I usually look at it through the interactive TV program every day or two.  Otherwise, you can go to Guest Services and ask for a printout.  Note, however, that some of the charges are cryptic.  For example, if you buy a beverage package onboard, it could be charged to some random bar.  The same applies to wine tastings and the like.  The amount will be correct, you just might not recognize the charge at first.

My wife would disagree with you, for her it is the walk in closet and the extra room in the suite, makes all of the difference.

Radiance is our favorite ship. If you have an excursion to the Kenaii Fjords, that was awesome! 

+1.  We did our whale watching excursion out of Icy Strait Point (we did see a whale).  However, the most impressive whale sighting was from the Champagne Bar Window on the ship, a couple of breaches.  So, when on the Radiance,  try to always sit by a window.

No, you are not expected to tip on top of what they have already charged you in automatic gratuities (beverage package).  Only if you feel an extra tip is warranted.
If you are seriously considering dining in a specialty restaurant, I recommend that you pre-purchase either a small dining package or just pre-purchase the individual meal that you want.  If you pre-purchase, you will NOT pay the additional 18% gratuity.  If you purchase a specialty dining meal on board, you WILL pay an additional 18% on top of the cost of the meal.

I pop over to that "other" site every now and then.   Was just checking it out during lunch today and it never ceases to amaze as to how ugly it gets over there.   I see so many people (even mods) who just get salty and vile with people posting simple questions.    My wife was laughing at me the last time i was reading over there because i let it get under my skin way more than it should, if at all.   So many trolls as well.     @Matt it really makes me appreciate all of your hard work that has gone into this place, not to mention the great attitudes of everyone here.    Thanks again everyone!    My time spent here makes me really enjoy cruising much more than I ever intended.    I always log off knowing more than I started out and generally have a good laugh as well.   Cheers!

Only got to participate in RoyalUp once.  I enjoyed success.  My approach was not a low ball bid; I was motivated for the upgrade. 
I "ghost booked" 1 year out on the same ship for the statroom I wanted to upgrade to.  I tailored my bid off that price.  Based on this approach, I saved $600 on a GS (total).  Probably, less savings if I looked 2 years out.  Canceling the ultimate dining pkg and the voom pkg (not needed for GS), I almost paid for half of the upgrade. 

So I asked my fellow suite snob mother why she does the suite over the standard rooms.  She told me she didnt always do suites.  She and my father both have done everything from inside cabins all the way to suites.  When they were younger they did a lot of the onboard activities like trivia, the shows, the lectures, the demonstrations, they were super active.  But as they aged, they dont do so many activities.  And they're not big sun worshipers either, not into the floriders or the rock walls or big into pools.  They'll do the pool maybe once but their trip is all about the relaxation and the views of interesting destinations.  So as they got older, the room became the focus rather than all of the activities.
