We were also on this cruise.
As a direct comparison of my previous cruise on Symphony just a few months back in November, this one felt much more busy despite being both at "full capacity". Will also agree with sentiment of others on the chair-hogs as we had to circle the pool deck multiple times like vultures to get chairs as soon as someone stood up with their things (and again in comparison, wasn't a problem on symphony in November)... It was a long weekend right? President's Day in the US? Family Day in Canada? School breaks?
It was also tough getting reservations on specialty dining at preferred times despite trying to sort things out even as early as noon on embarkation day. And when we did dine at the restaurants, they were practically half-empty - so not sure why there was no available reservations unless staffing was the factor and is still an issue.
 
In any case, really enjoyed the port stops. But still bummed we didn't stick to the original 10PM all-aboard time that this cruise was originally scheduled to leave Curacao and Aruba before being adjusted to 6PM. The stops served as a nice preview for us to plan a non-cruise return for a more extended stay.

Spoke to s supervisor. Don't know if it's "resolutions" or not. but getting my original pre-cancellation rate on the internet was the "only thing" they could do... They refused to match the "glitch" advertised rate.
The problem with internet packages is that it won't even let you see the possible total when pricing things out as it says you're only allowed to have one package (if you've already purchased one - which makes sense - but..).. So the only way to see if price is right (or wrong) is to CANCEL the existing internet package.

OK, my issues with the Internet package are more than fixed. I think maybe I caught the system in a strange readjustment period just now because I was just able to rebuy the 1 person 4 device package at $100 lower than I bought it yesterday (yesterday's pricing was wrong - $50 too high - based on listed sale). First, they lowered the price on the first device to $13.99 down from $14.99 yesterday. My total should have been $349.72 if both of those prices were true. Instead, I just bought it for $307.93. 🤷‍♀️ Maybe the only example ever of Royal math working in favor of the customer???

My internet package is back to the $13.99 for 1 device that I saw yesterday (vs. the $14.99 I booked at this morning). I noticed that when I book 2 devices, it comes up as $167.93 (or $11.99 per device, instead of $13.99 for the first device and $11.99 for each additional device. Three devices are coming up as $237.93, which is the lowest price I've seen in awhile.

Ran into the exact same issue (providing screenshots etc) and ALSO spoke to a supervisor who gave me the same excuse. They did however honour the price of my internet package that I had cancelled prior by way of cruise credit and repurchasing at the current price.
IF you are able to get any further resolution, I'd love to know! It's a huge saving.

Just bought 100 shares at $40.91/share.  Now I need to scramble to see if I can get OBC applied for Sunday's cruise. 
Real reason why I purchased 100 shares: Because I think it is a fine deal.  I plan on holding on to it for several years.   

Booking this sailing this week! Can't wait!

It surprises me at the growing number of people who have a sense of entitlement, lack accountability, and a disregard for the consideration of others. It doesn't help that in many cases, rules rarely get enforced; and therefore no consequence in their actions are felt.

As of this post, cruiseline stocks are getting hammered (among other equities)!
Royal Caribbean (RCL) is at ~US$49.50/share which is close to where it was at back in April 2020 post the initial COVID crash.
Seems like a tempting time to BUY given that the while entire fleet is now back in service, and from what I understand near full capacity in many sailings, cruising being made less restrictive than it was in the past, etc.... But of course, there is increasing gas prices - and these ships are thirsty(!), inflation (which includes food cost), staffing shortages, etc.
Curious to know your thoughts on this being a great opportunity to get in on a bargain price OR another risky gamble of RCL tanking even further given they're still bleeding and haven't yet turned a profit since pre-COVID.

You’ll see full-face masks for sale online that incorporate the snorkel into them.  These sound tempting.  Do.  Not.  Buy.  One.
I’m a diver (SCUBA) and have never seen so many people having issues.  4 couples on my boat had brand new full-face masks and every one of them had issues.
The snorkel itself can be connected with the ball valve vent facing front or rear.  All 4 couples had the snorkel on backward.  Meaning: you can be face down and not get air when you expect to.
The mask WILL fog up.  You’re exhaling into the mask instead of directly from your mouth through the snorkel.  This is also unnecessary work breathing-wise.  You have to move more air to get the same result.
Clearing a fogged traditional (eyes and nose) mask is a 1-2 second job.  Just get a little water in it and pop it right back on after tilting it to let the water out.  The full face mask folks were struggling the entire time, with most choosing to swap out for an operator-supplied mask and snorkel.
I'd ban these things if I could.  It's the closest to safety issues I've seen in the water in a long time.  If you do get one, make sure to try it out in a pool first.
Well-tracked data is still scant on these masks, but I wouldn't use one.

NICE!!  I know I'm in the wrong thread but I'm doing a similiar itinerary for my 50th Nov 12 2022.  I am SO looking forward to it!!  We hit Aruba first then Curacao.  Ship stays in Aruba until 11pm and Curacao till 6pm.

So much for boarding late. Symphony never made it into port. Allure ran into mechanical problems blocking the dock.  They can’t get us to the next port, so they put us up in a different hotel and our flight home is not till the day after our cruise was scheduled to end.  It could be worse I guess, just nothing we had been planning for months. 😕

I too have a Feb 2023 cruise booked, and don't even have dining packages! Literally just a handful of excursions at full price.

If you math that 30% off every guest discount it is actually way greater than 30% off of guests 1, 2 and 3 listed out there ($2999 + 2999 + 879 = 6877; 30% of that is only 2063 and they're discounting it 3519). It's way more of a difference than the cost of guest 3 listed above so I would definitely say it's building the KSF into the total.

For some reason, Royal isn't putting the KSF as a separate line item when you view the pricing, but it's included in the 30% off every guest. It breaks it out better on the final invoice you receive after booking.

Between 1 - 2 is the goal but once you get on staff or the captain or cruise director will tell you what the current ETA is.

Awww crap. My sailing in November is exactly in one of those rooms (on that deck too!) that is next to that 'grey area'! 

PSA: Update, went onto my cruise planner and the VOOM packages are %20 off now ! Going to lock it in now and maybe later it'll go even cheaper. At least I'm more comfortable with this rate.

From what I can recall, it was sometime end of January.
If you know you're going to get the package, just buy it now.. Then keep your eyes peeled for a better price.

We had coffee and a couple pastries delivered every morning, and was great. Took time to get ready for breakfast, but still enjoyed coffee on the deck. I gave a couple bucks each time. Every day was a different person also.
