I just checked my cruise planner yesterday (Harmony-July) and Labadee still isn't showing up anything (cabanas and etc). I will keep checking often so that I can get a beach bungalow (hopefully) before they sell out.

Did you get an email from RCCL that you received it, or it was your TA who told you?
I never received an email but my TA told me he got it. He and his wife were on the same cruise as us (we were vacationing together) so that may have been why. He was able to apply it to our other cruise. This was the first time I have every gotten a FCC so I really don't have any other experience to know.

Here at work our credit card runs are batched at the end of the day so there was probably a computer glitch and that batch wasn't processed.
-
My TA got mine and was able to apply it.

I like the idea of using our Yeti cups so that it will stay cold longer than the ones we get in the drink package. Now we just have to wait 152 days for Harmony and 185 days for Jewel.....not that i am counting or anything

Yes, you will need the cups to operate the soda machine. There is a chip in the bottom of the cup that unlocks the machine and let's you make selections.
I got annoyed constantly carrying cups around after 3 cruises so on cruise #4 I got these carry cases from Amazon. They don't do too much in the way of insulation but they add 0 extra weight, could easily slip onto my forearm to keep my hands free, and if the cup was empty or almost empty, I just looped it onto whatever bag strap I may have had on me. (no belt loops cuz I'm all sundresses on vacay)
This is exactly what we need! Thanks for the link - I will be ordering this ASAP!

Both my Granddaughters had to renew theirs and had them back last week (3 weeks turn around). My son-n-law had to renew his and still don't have his back yet. They didn't do expedited as we don't cruise until July this year.

We are going to be taking a cruise this year (hopefully) to Alaska and Canada, question that I have since you are close to land for this trip is it worth getting the internet package or will our phones most likely work as normal? Any help is greatly apricated
Thanks in advance
We did the Northern Passage on the Radiance so there is land on both sides mostly and we had better cell reception than we have at our house (AT&T). Only a couple of time did we have to put our phone in airplane mode. It was a pleasant surprise.

I'm in that same boat. After my cruise in Sept I will be one short as well. I think a nice 3 day weekend getaway in October will in order. Maybe we can convince Royal to bring back the double points for the rest of this year.
Same here! After our Harmony cruise in July we will be 1 point shy of Diamond. We will be cruising on the Jewel in August so we will for sure be Diamond after that 12 night double point cruise.

As far as I know, you can take your eMed tests with you and do it from the cruise ship via VOOM the day before you disembark. That's what we are planning to do in August for our British Isles cruise. The tests cannot be mailed to Europe but as you have them delivered to your home before you travel then as long as you have good internet, you can do your testing via the app on your phone.

Same! There's "planning" for three different vacations, Vegas & 2 cruises, on my desk right now.
We have 3 in the works too. We are headed to Riviera Maya (Unico 2087 Resort) Feb 5-11; Harmony of the Seas in mid-July; and Jewel (British Isles) mid-August. I just added up our air miles for the above mentioned trips - 12,847 air miles! I will be researching more trips soon for 2023 (but may have to check for some short getaways for fall 2022)! We haven't been to Vegas in a few years so.........

No, just following their guidance to the letter. my wife and I have both had to do this. the Navica app has to match perfect with what ever form of ID you use.
I am a Roman numeral II and I have 2 goverment issued ID one with and one with out, the one without worked perfectly when Navica didn't have it, when i used the other one i had to have it added to Navica.
Just have the name on navica exactly like on you ID to prevent problems
BTW it take 15-20 minutes for the Navica update to be reflected to the Proctor.
I have set up my Navica app so I went in and added my middle name now to avoid issues when I am ready to use it. Thanks for the info.

Holy crap ! I will never remember all of that ! Just kidding. Thanks for the history/geography lesson. Hopefully I will be visiting in August on Jewel.
We will be on the Jewel in August for the British Isles! Now we are trying to decide on excursions (lots (castles) and etc to choose from.

My wife and I are set to sail on a cruise then end of March and the end of April both on Mariner. Last week I decided to purchase the DBP after waiting for a real discount to appear but after monitoring the package for the past 4 months I never saw any kind of discount. I ended up paying 870.50!!!! That is the cost for my April cruise as well. I believe that I reached my tipping point in which I will no longer buy the DBP. I can truly understand why people now sneak alcohol on board. To make things even worse on my last cruise in December I was talking with the bar tender while he made me a Long Island. Now everyone knows that Long Islands are made with 5 to 4 different shots of liquor. As I talked to the bar tender I noticed that the liquor shots he used looked like a teaspoon each. When I inquired as to why he was not using full shots he informed me that their drinks are only allowed to have one to one and half shots total of liquor! No wonder why after slinging down drinks all day long I never really got a buzz. I always thought that it was because I was eating food through out the day.
It is because of the lack of liquor used in the drinks and primarily the cost being so high now that this market will no longer bear the cost of the DBP. I have another cruise also booked for October and that one is looking not good either for the DBP. If I can pickup the package for around $50 or $60 a day I will book it but at $80 a day that is just to much for me.
Alright rant over.
We feel the same way! We get the refreshment package to get bottled water and specialty coffee. We just order drinks when we want one and we have never paid even close to breaking even for the UBP for one person let alone two people.

We also used goport.com. We also stayed near the airport and had NO ISSUES getting to the port in time for our boarding time (which was noon). The hotel we selected was very nice too with decent food options close by. The return was equally seamless and even though I mad a slight mistake and booked a pretty early flight, everything worked out. We are definitely using this service again if we cruise out of Port Canaveral.
Glad to here this! This will be our first time using GoPort.

Hi! We had the same question when we booked our cruise for later this year. My research turned up a company called Goport.com. Great reviews and they have a "fly, snooze, cruise" package that includes transfer from airport to hotel, hotel stay and transfer from hotel to port. We went ahead and booked close to the airport and it was super reasonable price wise. Thinking we might swap things around and see if we can switch to a hotel closer to the port though. Hope that helps! Happy Travels!

UPDATE: Found out we would need to cancel our current booking in order to switch. Of course the hotels closer to the port are more expensive and we are pretty committed to our current budget. lol We paid $223 for the package with a hotel close to the airport and would pay another $200 for a hotel near the port. We decided to keep the deal we had especially since it looks like we would get to the port just as early. Hope that helps!
We booked GoPort for our family July cruise. We chose to stay at the airport and transfer to the port the next day. The prices were better (there are 8 of us) and coming in on two different flights.

You should be able to find bottled Keto friendly wines at our liquor store of choice. I wouldn't risk trying to sneak in on board. Champagne Brut only has 2g sugar and several other wines I saw had 3g per serving.

We did the Northern inside passage on the Radiance with a balcony. Ours was very port intensive so the balcony was fine especially for that very reason. I would rather spend the extra $$ on excursions at every port (plus we did a post 3 night cruise tour with RCI). You could try to Royal Up if it is offered.

We are Emerald and will turn Diamond after our August British Isles cruise (Jewel). We are trying to decide where we want to cruise in 2023!

Swim in the big pool is free (which is like 3.5 feet deep). Playing in the water park cost extra, this is all the slides and the wave pool
They really don't care that much about the slides and etc. so the big pool will be exactly what we are looking for.

I guess I will just keep checking often. Those go so quickly that I don't want to miss my opportunity. We had one several years ago (Oasis) and our family loved it.
