  1. Thanks guys, Well, I just checked my pass and, I guess I screwed-up. It had been 11 am, but I guess I changed it when I thought I needed to make a choice for the wellness check. There didn't appear to be a selection under arrival time, as though I needed to make one. I surprised there wasn't a warning like, "Are you sure you want to update your boarding time." lol Oh well, live and learn. Thanks for all your assistance!
  2. Hi All, First time cruiser.. Didn't see this in the prior threads, but we have an early boarding/check-in at 11am on Mariner for May 23rd out of Pt. Canaveral. (Stayed up late one night to get it and have a confirmation email!) However, when I went into the app under "Check-in" and clicked on "arrival time" for wellness check, the only times are for past 1:30pm. So, now I am confused as to which time is our actual boarding time. Surely, they would be checking our vaccine info before we are allowed on board. So, that makes me think that we now can't get on the ship until after 1:30. I figured the 11am check-in would cover wellness check. Does anyone know what the two times are for? Thanks in advance!
  3. Thanks @PPPJJ-GCVAB, I was able to book it last week. Glad I got it when I did.
  4. Just check mine, still not yet available.. Thanks tho!
  5. Hi @Eddy, I'm from N. Florida originally and anytime we have to go back down to visit family we tend to stay in Palm Coast. It's still a rather sleepy town (by FL standards) with a lot of retirees. I think it stayed that way, since it is just a little to far to live and commute to either Jacksonville or Orlando. That said, I think the pricing is decent (relative to amenities such as pretty nice beaches that allow dogs.) From there, it's about an hour and a half to the RC cruise terminal. That said, it is generally not a walkable area and I find the restaurants a little lacking, but I think it is worth the trade off. Oh, take this with a grain of salt, since I am not of retirement age. So, I may not have the same perspective, but this is where I would like to retire. Additionally, we are hoping to get a fifth wheel eventually and park it there when we go down to see the family. Hope that review helps. Best of luck!
  6. Really helpful info @ariesgirl384. Their hold times have been pretty atrocious lately. (So, not Costco. I'm guessing it is related to staffing.) I will give that a try!
  7. hmm.. I booked through Costco for a trip on Mariner in May 2022. This is our first cruise, for all intents and purposes, but we didn't have any "real" issues with Costco, except for their long hold time and the inability to re-price direct through RC. For instance, I found today that the cruise we are sailing on is around $100 cheaper on the RC site. When I called them, they said that I would have to take that up with Costco. However, the Costco Travel site shows the room as being the same price (from what I can tell.) I agree with @ariesgirl384, there website did say that they do not participate, though I just remember reading that. I'm not sue how prominently it says that. Additionally, we also like the idea of the Costco Shop card and the 2% earning on our Executive Membership, as well as the the additional 3% on our Costco Visa. The only other item I would add is, once we booked the cruise through Costco, I didn't see any other reason to use them for booking add-on's, i.e. massages, excursions etc. All of those items are booked through the RC website, from what I could tell. We are pretty far out from our trip in May, but we also don't have the option to book massages or even a beach bed on Labadie, at the moment. I guess those things will "come online" over time. Hope that helps!
  8. Hi all, I am a first timer (cruiser and on the blog); and, I would greatly appreciate some input. We have booked a Royal Cruise embarking on 05/23 on Mariner. I pre-booked the Coco Beach Club for the stop at Perfect Day, which I am very excited about. I wrestled with doing that or booking one of the beach beds there, both seemed to meet our needs. It is starting to sound like Labadee is beginning to get back to normal, with ships beginning to stop there again. My question is, does Labadee have the ability to rent beach beds like Perfect Day? In my cruise planner, I am able to book a beach bed, canopy, or the beach club right now for our trip in May for Perfect Day, but there is no availability to book anything like that for Labadee. So, I just wasn't sure if that would even be an option. Should I expect it to become available at some point in the cruise planner? Thanks in advance!
