Right now there are 210 people on-line watching an empty cruise ship come into port. lol

When an alert pops up on your phone and you think "Wait, Celebrity Cruises had a talk show?  For 19 years? How did I not know this?"
 

You know we really didnt think this through, with so many of us being in Florida already and knowing how to get things done in the new modern era we really should have planned on having a "protest" today ... you know one of those things were lots of people gather in a small area without masks and yell in each others faces ... 

If the CDC were actually concerned with the science and the numbers of cases, deaths, and vaccinations, then they should really look at these facts:
 
1. The 7 day average of new cases in the United States has decreased from 68,917 a month ago to 38,135 as of yesterday, a 44% decrease
2. The 7 day average of deaths in the United States has decreases from 985 a month ago to 619 as of yesterday. a 37% decrease
3. The percentage of people in the US receiving at least one dose of vaccine on April 11 was 36.3% and fully vaccinated was 22.1%. As of yesterday those numbers were up to 46.7% at least one dose and 35.5% fully vaccinated.

But i am following CDC guidance to not touch my mask ... 

1. You have to wear a mask outside on a cruise line private island. (seriously?!?! How does that make sense in ANY world?)
2. Wear masks by the pool.  ( I have been to many resorts during the pandemic and the only requirement is to wear them when walking to and from the pool. They can come off when you are sitting or in the pool. Also, that is going to give me the strangest tan. )
3. Wristbands are recommended to alert you when you are too close to someone else. ( I guess due to the pandemic we have lost our sense of knowing if someone is standing right next to us.)
4. You cannot remove your mask for an entire meal.  ( Yet you are allowed to remove your mask for the entire meal at restaurants on land.)
 It is my humble opinion that CDC now stands for Crazy Daffy Cookoo

On land, my church is my only social circle/bubble.  Not that it’s “banned” in our church like in “Footloose”, but I don’t dance at parties on land.  You see, I’m the pastor. LOL
So on cruises, I can let my feet get a little loose dancing. ha ha

I went on a cruise one time and they did not have escargot! They told me there was a worldwide shortage of the little guys. 

I heard a different explanation. It wasn’t a shortage but instead product arriving to port at a slow pace. I guess one could say “at a snails pace.”

With a key lawmaker saying he recognizes that vaccine hesitancy is "real and understandable," the Florida House on Wednesday approved a measure that would limit local emergency orders and make permanent Gov. Ron DeSantis’ executive order barring COVID-19 vaccine "passports."
The House voted 76-40 to approve the proposal (SB 2006), which Pandemics & Public Emergencies Committee Chairman Tom Leek, R-Ormond Beach, said would prepare Florida for the next public-health emergency while striking a "delicate balance between protecting people and protecting people's civil liberties."

Waiting patiently for next week. The hearing is slated for this coming Wednesday. So, we should know something soon after that. The fact that a federal judge ruled the CDC overstepped it's authority in that case, does give a small bit of hope for cruising.
