Most of the times the cookies I have gotten have been stale.  It's a nice gesture though.

I think the question was whether a copy, not the original, would be accepted if laminated.  I haven't heard anyone state they laminated a copy and still got through check-in.

Hello, I got this tip from a Facebook Group for my sailing and got permission to share the tip. I don’t know if this has been shared before here. It’s a way to see the daily activities for the ship at the current time. 
 
I know I'm the most excited for the cruise, but I have a tip if any of you less enthusiastic people are interested. It gives you the current information on the current sailing on the ship so you can get an idea of the activities and menus. You will need the Royal Caribbean app:

Open app and click on the person icon at the top.
Click on select a different sailing
Go to bottom and click on get more details on ships we support
Click the ship you are going on
Click on the sailing with the current date (ie May 22- May 29 2002)
If you click on the daily planner you will see all the activities that are planned for this day to get an idea of what is offered. It also says where the ship is right now.
 

Paid cruise off 5/16. Received cancellation email on Saturday 5/21 showing zero balance. Called Royal Caribbean on Saturday 5/21 and told to disregard. Received email this morning that cruise was cancelled. 😡 On phone now and have to transfer to resolutions department and wait could be up to one hour. This is an international cruise with cruise, flights, hotel, transfers, and travel insurance. 😤😡 I have never had such a terrible experience with Royal Caribbean. 
Update: Spent 5 hours on phone yesterday between various departments and on hold. Cruise is still not restored to original paid invoice. Still missing the precruise hotel and transfers and travel insurance. Being told those will be refunded in 30-45 days and I will need to rebook through another department. 
 
Unfortunately, I did not book through a travel agent and am having to deal with this myself. If there is a next time, I will book through a travel agent. 

Update 06/03 Cruise, Flight, hotel are rebooked. Fingers crossed 🤞 no more issues. Thank you to the Miami team. 

 

Call to tell them your preferred amenity 

We told him they were vaxxed and it didn't matter.  All families with children under 12 had to wait on one line to get into the terminal, regardless of vaxx status, and everyone else got on the other line.  Sky, Sea, and Star class did not matter either. 

You have an 11:30 arrival time for the pier. They will review your documents there and ask about your wellness. 
 

It does make a difference at Cape Liberty, Star and Sky class are called first, and then those who have the Key. 

 

You might run into a problem with a 6:45 PM MTD and making an 8:15 PM show time if you actually have to reserve seats. We had early 5:00 PM dinners and always finished by 6:15 PM and was able to make the early 6:45 PM shows that did not require reservations.
The problem we ran into was that the app would not let us reserve spots for a 6:45 PM show because the app allotted 2 hours for our dinner reservations. The only option for us was to reserve the 9:00 pm show and we could have tried to see if there were space available seating for the 6:45 PM show. We actually decided to skip the show and cancelled our 9:00 PM reservation.

Ha! Ha! They were just kidding. I got another email today and pre-cruisetour testing (embarking in Seward) is back on again. 

 
 

Just saved $25 on internet for my son on our little 4 night next week.  

HM worked! Already heard back and got all our dinner reservations booked.

Can you be more specific?
You are bidding on a room category and you get a cabin within that category. 
The only time I would say "buyer beware" is the Large Ocean View Balcony, because on some ships it means a larger cabin, but on others it might mean same size cabin but a slightly larger balcony.   It would be in the bidders best interest to check on the specific ship cabin description for the category they are bidding on. This can be done by doing a mock booking for that ship and reading all the descriptions for each cabin category.  Within ocean view there are many types of ocean view, within balocny there are many types of balcony.  If a bidder is not happy with the choices they are bidding on they should keep what they have or consider paying the fare difference to move to the category they want.

For me, I did the Royal UP once.  I did not think to look at where that category was located and it turns out all the cabins int the category I bid for were the below the pool deck.  So  yes, I got the cabin category I wanted, but had I booked on my own I never would have chose a cabin below the pool deck. Had I looked before I bid I never would have bid to get that cabin.   I enjoyed the cabin, not the noise.  I typically am very thorough in regards to location when making my cabin selection.  I'll be sticking to the cabin's I choose and use the funds I may have used on a Royal Up towards other things.

This was the experience we had-my daughter is now over 18  and Diamond.
  I will say that my daughter's set sail pass showed as Emerald, when she is Diamond.  She called Royal C&A and they confirmed she is Diamond and fixed her set sail pass.  So if anyone has any issues with proper level they should be contacting Royal C&A .
 

Let your waiter know that you are trying to make the show. They can move things along if requested.

@Matt  it feels so long ago since the old reprice rules.  Can you explain what they are?

A passport will be hard to come by now, but definitely that's the way to go for the next cruise. 
I would bring anything official that proves your name is now what it is.
