I tend not to buy masks on Amazon due to their 3rd party commingling stock so you can’t ever be sure if it’s 100% authentic, but I get masks directly from from authorized distributors: KN95 masks bonafidemasks or KF94 masks from behealthyusa, Kollecte, or MaskLab. These style of masks are great for keeping the mask off your mouth. Different family members like different brands, but BOTN (adjustable ear loops), LG Airwasher (adjustable ear loops), and MaskLab (non-adjustable) are the ones we use most. I was just reading a report today that stated cloth masks and single ply masks do very little to protect you against the Omicron virus.  I would get some N95 masks and wear them when you are around people.  That way your chance of enjoying the entire cruise is higher.  Amazon.com : N95 mask
 

Looks like the most common kf94 (South Korean standard, similar to N95) mask design.  These are my choice of masks due to range of sizes available and thus good fit, good protection, comfort.  I do use a clip to keep loops off the ears if wearing for a longer time.

I bring a test kit with me in my luggage. My plan is if I feel ill or in any way think I may have it…I’ll do the test in my room. This way I at least have an idea before I call. *I know, pretty anal!
But…I’ll still call. I’m guessing they do PCR which is much more specific than the rapid antigen test at identifying Covid. It may ruin the cruise for me, but if I do have it, I’d rather have a medical person monitor me in case the infection suddenly affects me in a bad way. Most importantly, I don’t want to be responsible for causing others to get it…especially those who may have a life-threatening reaction. That would be tremendously selfish.

I won’t pretend to know what your kids like or don’t, but my kids never once complained about it being an issue.  

Adventure Ocean experience will vary by ship (and perhaps by sailing).
We had our 8 year old daughter with us on Oasis at the end of September, and she couldn't wait to go to AO every day.  Spent a good number of hours there.  Kids were allowed to choose their preferred activities (play distanced, but still fun, games with others - I saw modified floor hockey and the like), Nintendo's, science experiments in the lab, or crafts.
This was daughter's 6th cruise, our first since pandemic started, and she did not complain that AO is boring.
As usual, YMMV...

Given that ships aren't normally in port overnight, I feel like it's rare to get a photo of the ship all lit up at night. I've got one of Mariner from a few years ago when rough seas kept us from going to CoCo Cay, so we wound up with an overnight in Nassau instead. Anyone else have some good pictures of the ships all lit up?

Amazing to see how many people are in favor of discrimination. Someone has a 5 year old child and wants to fly to see a dying grandmother is out of luck. 
 
this would also eliminate 60% of a minority to fly in this country.
