I don't know the airport. I guess what I'm asking is, after we get our luggage, what can we do? Is there somewhere at the airport we can wait with our luggage, possibly take a nap?
I've only flown into EWR once on cruise day landing before 0730. We had an Airport transfer through RCL. A representative was waiting for us at baggage claim and led us to waiting area in the lower level near ground transportation. This was a comfortable place to wait. Shortly thereafter, we were called for transport, were able to check in upon arrival and waited in the suite area and boarded a little after 10.

If Labor Day accrues during your cruise is it consider a Holiday cruise?
From a conversation with Club Royale today: there are 8 holidays currently. President's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year. This applies to Casino Comp Cruises, but may apply universally.

They must be rolling out the next round of promotions....the DBP just went back down to $44 for our October sailing.

I do plan on trying the filet at both ck and chops.
I would recommend the Filet at Giovanni's also. In my opinion. It is better than Chops. I would look forward to a comprehensive review!

I think there are 2 different branches to this discussion. The OP was disappointed that discount certificates earned onboard couldn't be transferred after their expiration. Other benefits, such as the annual free cruise for Club Royale status, are being reinstated and extended through March 2022. I believe the original concern was more in line with not being able to transfer a cruise planner purchase that was secured at a great price.

My problem is that we do not have good numbers for a survival rate as there was not widespread testing early enough. Also, what is classified as a COVID-19 death is questionable at times. What frustrates me is that I cannot make good decisions when all I have is junky, inconsistent information....
In 1954, Darrell Huff wrote "How to lie with Statistics", it remains readily available and I found it highly entertaining. It must be required reading for those in the media today. While we are being constantly fed dire predictions and frightening graphs, there are other recent studies that show the infection rate to be as much as 85 times higher than reported. This would mean that the survival rate would be approaching 99.9%. Of course, virtually no reporting exists for these studies

”Would you cruise if wearing mask is required in public area including pool deck?”
Because that is likely to happen in my opinion
I dont see that happening. I don't believe it is practical, possible or enforceable. I foresee some additional waiver of liability. Etc instead.

Unfortunately, many of our news outlets are driving this madness!
I agree, and it is baffling and disappointing that this all seems to have become more than it needs to be. Logic and Reason appears to have been taken over by Sensationalism and leverage. Once we strayed from presenting and analyzing the REAL facts and instead began focusing, once again, on celebrity opinions on social media, it seems that this exercise has run its course and the media and the politicians should all get back to work and allow everyone else to do the same. In particular, the cruise industry.

Based on the earlier answer from @Ogilthorpe, sounds like it would be 47,200.
@JLMoranYes, this exactly the way it worked for me.

otherwise people could just cancel and rebuy and cancel and rebuy until they've got enough points for a free cruise!
Very true! There were well documented cases of that in the early days of Airline miles reward cards. Using the existing rules, there were some that were purchasing Travelers Checks (I said 'early'! ) which would avoid cash advance fees by rule. They would turn them around ... and repeat creating enormous rewards balances. Of course, this lead to rules changes.

I think that since the funds were orginally in the cruise fare that was paid, the OBC would be added back to adjusted fare and that result would be the basis for FCC or refund.

I talked at length today with a Club Royale rep. There were some issues with expiration dates, but the offers are still in the system. Additionally, the offers associated with status are scheduled to be released May 15.

While I haven’t read anything “official” about casino bookings, I have read anecdotal postings indicating that L&S does NOT work for casino bookings.
I have not looked into casino comp bookings, but had a confirmation today that a standard booking through club Royale is eligible.

Can I book a new cruise and then L&S it ? Thinking about booking an Alaskan cruise for this year and then Lifting &Switching it to next year. I’m reading on CC that you have until 1 August to book and L&S. I thought it was only applicable to cruises already booked but reading conflicting information.
I've read the rules ... and I dont see any barrier this!

No offers here either. We are prime also and all of our current offers are gone, and we have yet to see our 2020 Prime email/mail. We were told that that it would be coming out in May.

I find that this happens from time to time. I have always had the information show up after a refresh.
Upon further review, my past cruise information is incorrect currently. My points appear to be correct, but perhaps for the wrong reasons.
This could also explain the inconsistencies on displaying casino offers as they are tied to C&A numbers.

I don't foresee masks as a requirement. They would be unenforceable, and science tells us, largely ineffective.
