Just be aware that if you pay your onboard account with a debit card that the bank will put a hold on your checking account for some period of time after the bill is processed.  For the most part it is not advisable to use a debit card for your onboard account.

On the flip side, we use credit for EVERYTHING!  Better protections, no hands in my checking account, paid in full every month, maximum rewards.

Edited to add everyone has their own financial plans and comfort levels.  just sharing my thoughts. 😁

They are but not too strictly - if you have a 1 pm tie slot and arrive at 12:30 you should not have a problem.

Thanks so much for the info. Did you also buy that small hammer at Walmart, or did you bring it from home? Could you have used the heel of a shoe for the same purpose? 😎

My brother ordered cord locks similar to these https://www.amazon.com/Double-Drawstrings-Paracord-Shoelaces-Elite/dp/B08BYFXMKV
When I am given the wristband I just pull the nylon all the way through the black plastic piece like I'm tightening it all the way and it slips off. Then I thread the ends through the cord lock and it makes it adjustable for easy on/off.

I didn't notice that our zone was wrong on ours for Odyssey, but someone with a Sharpie took care of it.

Suffice it to say that I probably won't be using these two again.

I met my husband through Love @ AOL in 2019, it's now Match.com. Married him in 2001. Took our honeymoon on the Voyager of the Seas. Been loyal to Royal since. I lived in Virginia and he lived in Palm Beach, Florida. 20 years later we're still going strong. There was some good that came out of my employment. 🙂

The above may be true for you (and many others) but ANYTHING on my wrist is VERY noticeable. I have not worn a watch in nearly 30 years. When we went to Disney World last year, the "easy" way to do things would have been to wear the wrist band that acts as your room key, access to the parks, and charge account. I kept mine in my pocket and fished it out every time it was needed. I despise events that require a wristband to identify that you're entitled to enter/reenter - give me a physical ticket or stamp the back of my hand in some obnoxious color - anything but a wristband. The only thing I have "willingly" worn on my wrist would be hospital bracelets when I have had surgery, and those come off the second I don't have to have them on.

I'll go one step further... I'm hoping by May, the coronavirus and all its variants will no longer be public health issues.

Just off the Mariner of the Seas, and my dad fell in love with the scrambled eggs in the Windjammer.   I lost track of time, and never got a chance to ask while on the ship.... Does anyone know what brand of scrambled egg mix Royal Caribbean uses?  I would love to surprise my 85 year old dad with these eggs for breakfast at home one morning. 🙂
    Thanks for any info,

With the ventilation systems, there's really no deep cleaning that'd need to be done.  The hazmat suits and foggers we hear reports of are extreme overkill from the March 2020 understanding of covid.

Personally I would avoid a card tied directly to a bank account under almost every circumstance. The negatives outweigh the positives and most credit cards offer excellent fraud protection.

What I really cannot figure out is why we continue to see posts like this everywhere.  It's not like the poster doesn’t know about the purpose and various opnions on masks.  Some people agree with you, while others (like me) do not, although those words are not nearly strong enough to express the depth of the disagreement.  No one on these boards is going to change anyone's mind.  I am willing to argue about it much more than most, and even I am tired of it and realize the futility.  In my opnion your opnion on masks is wrong at every level,  but you do you.  Just not on a cruise ship until the rules change.

Switched over to duckbill N95 mask. Made in USA (only important for certifications).
I wear both glasses and hearing aids, and this mask has two separate straps that I can put the top strap on the crown of my head, rather than one contiguous earloop. I need this so that the strap/loop doesn't grab my $$$$ hearing aids and send them flying.
BTW, in the beginning of all this, 18 months ago, we were told to wear masks everywhere. When I tried to bicycle, it was like
Helmet Mask Glasses Hearing Aids Choose any three Usually, I took the hearing aids out into case and put them in the rack bag.
