You guys are not ready for the vlogs I am about to post! I've just finished editing my tour of Oasis, and uploading as I type this. And the crew internet on Oasis is super fast, so I should be able to post more frequently.

COUNTERPOINT: I am extremely ready to see these vlogs!  ? . Looking forward to the tour, and hope your transition is a smooth one!

Has anyone had any issues logging on? Anytime I sign into the site it constantly refreshes or keeps attempting to redirect. I've tried several things to get it to stop but nothing seems to work.

This is a recurring issue, as are all things web-related for RCI!  They wee doing web maintenance today as well, so that certainly can't help things.  Generally I just wait a few hours and refresh and ~poof!~ all of my Cruise Planner info is back again.

Oh i'm screwed if that happens... How often has this happened in the past?

Whenever anything "of interest" is seen.  Generally speaking it's stuff that people didn't think about not being allowed on board (surge protectors, irons, etc.).  Sometimes it's stuff people are trying to sneak on board (booze, in particular).  Most of the time it's no big deal, you either explain what it is, they clear it and you're on your way or they inform you it's prohibited and return it at the end of the cruise.  In your particular instance, even if security viewed it as no big deal, there seem to be bigger consequences at hand.

We've purchased the key for each of us.  Do we still need to make reservations for the shows, or just show up?

Yes, you still have to make reservations for each show you want to see.  Where the Key helps is with the actual seating.  Rather than having to show up 30-40 minutes ahead of a popular show's start time to get decent seats, you will have seating reserved for you in a "prime" seating area up to 15 minutes before curtain.

What about if i put it into my luggage instead of my carry on?

From my understanding, there's a pretty good chance it'll get flagged during x-ray and either you or your parents will be asked to come down and open the bag in the security room...

Here is an excerpt from the Genie email that I just got this weekend.  This is for Oasis.

Star Class guests have priority at the Rockwall, Zipline and Flowrider (except during peak hours from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm).   You will find a visible sign where it says that guests with the color of your SeaPass card (plump) have priority at the check-in booth to sign the waivers.  You will then get a wristband for the Flowrider and priority at the Rock Wall and Zipline to be able to bypass the line after 2-3 guests.   Once onboard,  I will print out the opening hours of these areas for the entire cruise. No prior reservations are required; unless any of you are interested in Ice Skating,  I will only need to know 24 hours in advance in order to secure your spaces.

Personally, I'm excited to see the rollout of this new plump card.  Sounds inconvenient, but what a status symbol!
