For open beverages, it depends on what it is. If it's alcohol and it's obvious, no. Anything else should be ok.
Certain foods, especially fruits you cannot bring back. You'll have to check to see what's ok and not.
Unopened alcohol has to be checked in, and will be given to you on the last night. Anything else should be ok to take to your cabin.

And in the Beach Club, you can have both (the server called it the surf and turf package).

We had our first stop at Coco Cay last week.  It was a sudden itinerary change due to TS Bonnie going over Aruba.  We decided to splurge on the Beach Club for no other reason that we wanted to live large for once (and we had another excursion cancelled due to the change) and we just weren't in the mood to explore.  We loved it.  Whether it's worth the money is subjective and personal.  If we go back, we may do the free things, but then again, living the life of luxury was a nice experience.

@megndanielle820 & @JP350  Welcome to the Royal Caribbean Blog Forum!
@twangster Just checking out the island the first time you visit is a great idea.
For us, we book the Coco Beach Club everytime we can (depending on who we cruise with) - we love it!

I have gone as far as deducting a star class suite from my business income due to a conversation I had with Sugar Beach manager about almond topping quality and packaging upon learning it was my product.
This was several years ago and I’m not writing this in jail. I have not repeated this as my accountant recommended not jeopardizing my 1 for 1 record.

Like everyone else here, the only advice I'm offering is never, ever invest more than you can afford to lose.
That said, I can't help but think the shareholder benefit makes the stock attractive.  If you're lucky enough to be retired and cruise 7 days per month,  then the benefit would be $1200 per year.
At $35 per share ($3500 for 100 shares to get the benefit), you would have your investment back in just 3 years.
Btw carnival would be less than 1 year!

YOLO reacted to Moby Dick in Booking next cruise onboard
We have, in the past, booked at the Next Cruise Desk then transferred the booking, within 30 days, to a TA.  Combined with the reduced deposit, which in the grand scheme of things isn't really a savings, the OBC, $300.00 at the Next Cruise Desk and the OBC, $1,800.00 the TA gave us, we had over $2,000.00 in OBC.  So, it was well worth the Next Cruise Desk utilization.  Here's a couple of things you need to know about that kind of strategy.  1.  You have to know what the "big box" (Cruises.com, CruisesOnly.com, et al) TAs are offering before you go the the Next Cruise Desk.  2.  You have to be willing to work with a "big box" TA.  That's not always a great experience and I find that they either have an integrity issue or just not well trained and give answers to questions they really don't know anything about (which to me is also an integrity issue).   You really need to be an educated consumer.  I must say, being an educated consumer is a must when dealing with any TA and Royal.
Having said all that, I find it hard to get to sit down and talk to a representative at the Next Cruise Desk.  On the few ships that I really wanted to talk to them, they were always busy, people waiting for a long time to be seen and the hours are not convenient.  YMMV.  I'm thinking the sooner you board the ship and go to the Next Cruise Desk, the better, before the newbies fall in love with cruising, the less busy the desk will be.  But, I haven't put that to practice yet.

That brings up an excellent point.  As @Moby Dicksuggests, waiting until the last day or 2 to get to Next Cruise is a mistake.  Also, not being prepared (not knowing what you want) is also a mistake.  Since most of our bookings are through the casino, we use NC very rarely, but when we do, we go early and know exactly what we want to book.

If you haven't been before I'd suggest not buying an excursion and exploring all the island has to offer.  Then on future visits you'll know if there is a need or desire to do more.

We have been five times and only spent money once when we booked the Beach Club for around $70 pp to try it out
We have never felt the need to spend on anything other than that one time, and we’ve always enjoyed ourselves.

In my case, I couldn't wait for my next monthly statement so I got my brokerage (TD Ameritrade) to generate a letter confirming I had 100 shares.  I then sent that letter to [email protected] along with my booking numbers, ships and dates.  In about 24 hours, the OBC was posted to all my future cruises.

In my experience, no.  The JR milkshakes are not covered by the UDP but are covered under the DBP.  As @twangstersaid, it seems to vary by ship whether the milkshakes are included at all under ANY package.  Best to ask first, just in case. Yes, the food should be included in the UDP and the milkshakes should be included in the DBP but there sometimes are mixed signals between the ship policy and ship servers.  As a general rule, however, the milkshakes are not included in just the meals package.

Make sure to visit NextCruise onboard to keep the addiction going.  Withdrawal is very dangerous - don't want to take chances.

I was on the Anthem OTS last November. The roof was closed. It was nice that it was closed especially since the weather in the north east is chilly. I never saw it open when we were in the Caribbean.

I only speak tourist New England, but I believe you'd have to spell it "WorcestSox" then.  On second thought, I see the PR nightmare that possible phonetic issues could cause for outsiders.  Never mind.
Seriously though, MiLB is fantastic.  I'm a 15-20 minute drive to the Trenton Thunder.  Before the Yankees characteristically stabbed them in the back and withdrew their affiliation status without warning, I saw a number of Yankees stars rehabbing and making their way up through the system.  Not a Yankees fan AT ALL, but witnessing greatness is witnessing greatness, plus Bat Dogs!

We just got an email about an itinerary change on Wonder, Jan 15,2023.  Instead of Nassau we are going to CocoCay.  Fine with me because we have been to Nassau more than CocoCay.  I can't say that we are too disappointed about this change.

I always prepay the gratuity; I also always tip extra for services. I don't like having a big bill at the end of anything, so if I can avoid that I will. I also carry cash with me at the start of the cruise to tip the people who made my cruise what it was.
