I had a grade 3 sprain when I was in the Guard, and coming back to work I needed something to let me work on a rolling/pitching deck without killing myself or someone else.  This really did the trick.  Super supportive, and it fit in my boot or sneaker.  I still wear it to work out.

Specialty restaurants have the same dress code as you'd find in MDR and WJ.  Go enjoy your meal and don't worry about what other wear.

That was awkward...so i figured i might change it to less awkward ?

i booked through www.shoreexcursions.com at the recommendation of AAA, and found a cavern tour, meet at the big tree, take a van out to the cavers, get a tour, have a short time to shop, then they bring you up to a point where the views were beautiful!! not snorkellling, but beautiful nonetheless

on st lucia my husband and I (with carnival... hopefully rccl has something close because it was amazing) we essentially got a tour of the island, stopping to see the pitons, and going to a plantation where we saw beautiful gardens, got to sample tea, coconut, and cocoa beans, and see how they processed cocoa! the hilight of the trip was going to the mud baths where we smeared ourselves with volcanic mud and had a nice dip in a volcanic hot spring... they mean hot!! haha. so nice!

When we were there in April, we did a combo Stingray City and Turtle Farm (plus we went to Hell .... I'm sure we've all been there at least once - lol)...
It was awesome ..... even the boat ride out to the sandbar where the stingrays are.  The water was spectacular.

i usually leave my phone at home. the only reason why we will have one is because we need to contact our ride before and after the cruise. i otherwise want to be completely phone free including alarms... hence the request for a loud alarm clock! :) thanks though

I was going to say exactly this, which unfortunately is a sad reflection on the times we live in. ?
I would be inclined to take up Jane's suggestion and get the notarised form. My philosophy is that it's better to have and not need than need and not have. (Still working on not applying that philosophy to packing, though ?).

Although I think having a good travel agent is important I don't think anyone should rely only on there agent for information....there is no excuse today with all the information online and boards like this one to be misinformed.
We have been sailing for 20 years and currently sail 10-12 times a year with Royal and I am quite inquisitive but would never believe I know everything about cruising with Royal. In fact I know some very good travel professionals that have only cruised 2-3 times....there is so much info to know and so may companies that it's imposable for an agent to be up to speed on everything.

It's so funny that I just read your post, as I just called (again) to change my room number and one of my top priorities is to be CLOSE to the elevator!   I was thrilled to find a room that was both near the elevator, on the port side and on the same floor as at least part of the solarium.... I am sure that the Customer Service folks at RC are thrilled that I have found the perfect room too, and will quit calling them every night... ?

6 years ago, my mom took the whole family on a cruise -- celebrating her 80th, my & DH's 25th anniversary, a couple of the grandkids going into senior year of high school -- so we were a table of 11 every night.  My younger nephew -- 14 at the time -- ordered at least 2 -- shrimp cocktail & Caesar salad -- and sometimes 3 appetizers, usually got seconds on his entree (or 2 entrees) & 1 or 2 desserts.  Our waiters just kept bringing it out, without batting an eye.  Of course, our whole table had the advantage of seeing the menu the night before, as my younger DD has celiac, & they would bring it out to let her choose her meal for the next day, so that probably helped.

there are so many games out there. these being some good reccomendations, and pandemic being one of my favorites. 7 wonders, kittens in a blender, exploding kittens, organ attack, azul, splendor, potion explosion, and sagrada are good games, though not coop they have a smaller footprint... 5 minute dungeon (or 5 minute marvel) may be a good fit... 
as for ipad games, pathfinder and zombicide are great ( take up tons of real estate in board form)
 
@ultron87 when will you be on symphony? BGG@sea is sailing Aug 24-31 and I'll be there.. playing games all week!

Just going to put this out there, but I happen to like my Speedo (even when I didn't necessarily have the body for it--I feel better about it now because of the fact that I have been working out regularly for the last two years). It's been my experience that some (not all) persons' discomfort with the Speedo is a reflection on their own body discomfort. Let's remember that cruising is an international past time and there are different views on swim wear in other parts of the world.  **getting off my soapbox**
 
All this said, my husband in one of our contacts with Royal customer service asked specifically about whether or not Speedos were allowed in the pool area and Royal said yes and made no distinction about the family areas versus the adult areas.

You said it, I was thinking it! Ha! 
I bought a pair of speedo brand bathing suit (but it's a regular man's bathing suit) just so I can do this joke: "be right back, going to put on my Speedos!" ... They are usually relieved to see a "normal" bathing suit when I return.
