  1. Thanks to you all for taking the time from your vacation to present us with an amazing trip report. I really felt like I was right there experiencing it with you! I was so excited to get a peak into what Royal had created and while it's not for me personally I know it will be a hit for them. The photos and descriptions were so appreciated, you all did a great service to those of us on the sidelines. I was sad it was over as it was so much fun! Thanks again, so very much!

  2. Random thoughts, questions...

Anyone on this sailing also on the Inaugural Star of the Seas sailing? Will you still go?

Ben and David did a video stating Royal capped this sailing and a few more moving forward at 80%. Can you honestly see yourself on this ship at 100% ? I am truly curious because while I love to sail, I'm confident this type of ship isn't for me.

It's perplexing to me why Royal puts their suites and suites neighborhoods where they do.

On the older classes they are under the pool deck, on this in the front. I'm finding I'm a fan of deck 17 Oasis class more now then ever.

  3. The chair Hogs above are miserable people if they truly didn't need those chairs, shame on them. I guess I'm built different, as we take what we need and if kiddo is there and then leaves we give up her chair as well. We take turns getting food so as not to " hold" our chairs for any length of time. I just feel so much better being kind, I love his face in that picture! He was not happy when you took that photo, good for you!

  4. I agree about large ship short sailings. Everyone trying to do, see, eat everything in a short amount of time. On Wonder we asked crewmembers we interacted with from concierges to stateroom hosts everyone of them said they disliked short sailings very much and not one was interested in working on the Utopia, not one. I think it leans manic, every passenger hyped up, no decompressing and then more turn around days. I'm not a fan of short sailings either. The only reason I'm doing Utopia is to experience an inaugural sailing, disappointed it's only 4 nights. CK, balcony, photo bomb, repeat!

  5. I liked the WindJammer much better when they served you after the shut down. The food was hit or miss but not horrible. The reason I don't avail myself to it anymore is I can't wrap my head around how manic plus peoples ugly  behaviors when they are pouncing on the food. Hand washing seems to be lacking as well, the environment makes me unsettled, not so much the offerings.

  6. @Lovetocruise2002 question, are you happy you left tot town? Do you think you could have survived there? I showed hubby a cabin tour and he was like, we could stay there! Um, no, no thank you! Are you happy in the panoramic?

@AshleyDillo do you like the panoramic or would you have enjoyed something different?

Do you guys know the genies, are they new ones? Who is the cruise director, is he / she amazing?

Sorry so many questions, all the photos are amazing!

  7. Eagerly awaiting the top tier C & A numbers! I'm thinking there are mostly seasoned cruisers, bloggers and TA's on this sailing which should make for less etiquette violations, fingers crossed. Thanks everyone so far I am enjoying your journey so much! We watched cabin tours yesterday & looking for you all! * Wow, you're fast, thanks for the numbers, wowza!!!

    Random Questions so far,

Is there a car on the ship like on the Oasis classes? We have a wall filled with pictures with the cars. FYI when Symphony was canceled on us (I think 3 times now) due to the shutdown & I went to book it again, Cabash looked up the car & decided nope, don't have to sail on her! Wait what???? UGH!!!

Are the crew mostly seasoned from other ships like the Wonder?

It's me Neesa so I have to ask, any ducks spotted yet? I'm using @SweetPea ducks for our Utopia first sailing so wondering if they are still a thing especially since DCL has banned them!

And finally, where is @SpeedNoodles, she started this one & I haven't read a post. Are all of you guys meeting up somewhere for a quick fun face to face? Group photo please?

Have the best time & a huge thanks to everyone who is allowing us to come along, you guys are the BEST!

I will be on with my kids in late March for their spring break so I will let you know.

You are a Brave person. I can't even fathom Spring Break on that Huge ship! Looking forward to the trip report!

@AshleyDillo Can anyone access the suite sun deck, is it down a hallway like the Wonder set up? Also, I see CK but is there another suites/pins eatery in the suite area?

    Thanks so much!

  9. I'm excited to hear what you think of the Effectors 2. I enjoyed it so much, when we did the All Access Tour we were able to peek at their costumes. Cabash says he would give the Wonder another shot, as we were just unlucky enough to sail with an over crowded ship of newbies with zero cruise etiquette. I'm pretty much good though, for me one and done. I have been really enjoying your trip, thanks for all the amazing photos and smiles.

  10. @Matt on Cavuto! Great job Matt! Your energy and love of Royal shined through...

Kudos, you are an amazing brand ambassador! Truly made one want to book it!

    So much fun watching you!

*Update OMG Cabash just said "research the cheapest cabin you would stay in," OH MY! So big, but OKAY, if I must! (Thanks a lot Matt!!!)** UPDATE #2 Nope I can't do it, she is just not for me! BUT, the door is ajar for me .....I'm looking at you February releases, maybe even a Celebrity 🙂
