Its ok, I'll just grab em at the casino, they practically give em away if you ask as long as your Prime or above. You don't actually have to be playing in the casino at the time.

Disclaimer, Just my opinion & in NO WAY making a political statement either way. Answering @icf75 question
My 2 cents, COVID is here & there is the bad & the ugly concerning it......but COVID is now a money generating catalyst.  Been to the hair salon anyone?  Services are down, down, down minimum everything, except the price. A hotel stay, clean your own room, empty your own garbage but the prices are still high if not higher. Flights? Every seat filled and expensive fares still climbing. Everywhere you look things COVID related are being sold like never before, there is money to be made and BIG PHARMA stands to continue to profit from this crazy sad situation. COVID testing is now a new industry, want it fast? My Doc in the Box down the street is available just pay $$$. Never have I witnessed so many vehicles in that lot.
So no, with the monies being generated as an off shoot of this situation I do not believe the 12+ vaxxed to sail will be dropped anytime soon. The cruise lines need to be careful to not only mitigate this situation but limit their liability exposure, we all know sadly the lawsuits that will come and the amount of monies awarded will be directly tethered to the "risks" you were exposed to on the ship (even if this never occurred on the ship) Making $$$, saving $$$, unemotionally with sad commentary I believe at the end of the day $$$ will keep these protocols in place everywhere, I personally expect the vax mandate to be in place as a purely numbers decision for a very long time, and then the fall back statement is "for your health"
    Be well everyone!

So anyone sailed a RC ship with kids lately? Is the Adventure Ocean open? Are you allowed to get off the ship with kids since kids are unvaccinated? I've seen on the Carnival forums that Kids seemed to have a horrible time on Carnival ships. Wonder how folks experience with RCL is? We do have a sailing booked Thanksgiving Week out of LA on the Navigator. I'm assuming this will be a fully vaccinated cruise (sans kids under 12) since it leaves out of California. I'm sure a lot can also change between now and Nov

That’s a long ways away. It seems most of these protocols are temporary, meant to address current infection rates and trends. It looks like Royal is navigating their way through these health issues by working with their Healthy Sail Panel, and individual ports, to prevent cruisers and crew from getting sick…and cruising doesn’t get shut down again. Especially because of a mistake they make which results in an infection bloom. Who knows what the future brings…more variants? They have to be flexible-thinking and trying their best to balance passenger safety and reasonable accommodation. Best wishes for you and your kids to have a great time on your cruises!

Just got off Symphony today and I traveled with my 2 and 4 year old kids.
Pre-cruise - had to register them to get tested at the port. We all also had to show a negative PCR test from no longer than 3 days out as well.

Terminal - kids had to get the Nose swab at the port. The test itself was well organized (crazy for how bad the rest of the Miami port is). They then process you through but you have to be put in a waiting area until your test results emailed to you. Took at 45 mins for us. Then we were allowed onto the ship.
Ship - Didn’t put the kids in AO since I wanted to spend as much time with them as possible and they wouldn’t be in the same program at their ages. But it was for sure open. No problem with any dining and splash pads and pools all open. Some shows were vaccinated only though. Only real problem was 1 studio B ice show. I am not sure if Aquatheater was vaccine only since I watched the show from a balcony.

Ports - currently, you have buy through royal for unvaccinated to get off the boat. However, Royal does workaround excursions (at least it felt like it). For example, at Costa Maya, they had a $10 bird experience that was in the port town and nobody tracks you after the excursion. Coco cay no restrictions.
prior to disembark - kids had to get an antigen test (nose swab but not the one that goes into your brain) the day before disembark. They make you do reservations though so try to be first to book or grab the time that works best for your family. Got the results a few hours later and no problems getting off after that

Our last sailing in August had kids everywhere. Adventure Ocean is open although you must schedule for it and it is size restricted. Kids can get off the ship for shore excursions but they must be through the ship. Everyone I saw was having a good time and enjoyed their cruise. We are also on the Thanksgiving cruise on Navigator.

No personal experience but Adventure Ocean IS open. They have capacity limits so they require you to book slots in advance and may limit how many you can book based on demand.

We booked Thanksgiving week Navigator cruise out of Los Angeles. I'm trying to book travel plans but just realized there are multiple cruise ports in LA. Which one does Royal caribbean use?
Edit: upon doing some research online, is it San Pedro world cruise pier?

I pulled this up from early June because I want people who are anti-maskers, both ashore and if we ever cruise again, to see this video.
Wearing a mask isn't about party or identity politics. Wearing a mask isn't about giving up your personal freedoms or being forced to do things like one horribly offensive cartoon suggests the Nazis forced Jews to do - be marked with a star of David.
Wearing a mask is about stopping the spread of SARS-CoV-2 so that we can all get back to the thing we love ..... cruising.

Jzx1103 got a reaction from WAAAYTOOO in Odyssey Canceled til April '21
I had a comp for March 12th Spring Break 2021 sailing canceled. Moved it to March 12th Spring Break 2022. However had to give up my extra Large Balcony room 13232 for the 4 of us, and just settle for an regular Balcony and an Interior with 2 of us in each room. At least we were able to find the Balcony and the Interior across the hall from each other and it was $400 cheaper. The difference was there was no kids sail free for 2022 sailing vs 2021 sailing. So my wife and I had to use our tier comp separately vs combining together with a better room and still not pay for the kiddos. Could be worse I guess.

I'd agree with you if only the U.S. was reacting this way (especially on the playing politics part). But the entire world is going through this and acting this way. I also feel like once you personally know someone whose either gotten seriously sick by or lost their lives over this virus. Your perception of this virus starts to change, like what happened to me.

My girlfriend just lost her aunt and 4 of her cousins are infected. In the beginning she was saying it is just like fly , and now she knows it is not a joke. But it is sad to realize how serious it is until it hit close to home. We live in Florida.

So I called Club Royale and canceled my comped 4 nighter on the Enchantment on April. Will be refunded tax+port fees + $886 FCC, kinda low since the room is a JS. But they did say we can apply the FCC with future comps to pay for price difference in upgrades. Also I wonder since the comps are being refunded as FCC, whats there to stop people from just randomly booking every offer they got until July (even if they have no intention of going) and then cancelling on purpose just to rack up on the FCC.

Yea you're not racist, you're just prone to fear and hysteria. Asian people who's not been to Asia recently are no more dangerous than any white or blacks that hasn't been to Asia recently. Royal is already banning anyone whose been to Asia recently. Which is enough!!! Btw if you're that fearful, you should just cancel your cruise instead of having those that really want to go be punished just because of their ethnicity. Better safe than sorry right?
