We were on Deck 17 on the Harmony and one of our magnets was taken. It had dolphins and said Three best friends cruise! I was so upset but they always left the doors open to that deck.
I did find it though, I walked round the entire deck, they just moved it to another door on the port side. Sadly I removed all my magnets from the door for the rest of the sailing.
Some sailings it happens, I've been on a total of 18 sailings and only twice were my magnets violated.
But do not put out a white board and marker. Do that and boy oh boy, just wow!

I stopped by on Allure a couple times the other week and it was packed.
Remember, the purpose of the DL isn't purely for dispensing drinks. It's really the social aspect that I think draws most people.

I sometimes use it for a quiet space on sea days, when I don't want to be out in the sun.  I also use the diamond concierge instead of guest services.

Depends - if we're traveling with others we go there to have predinner drinks and talk , at bit quieter the the other bars on the ship. Other times if traveling by ourselves we'll find a bar. Don't really partake of the munchies.  DH gets coffee but its hard for him cause he's just plain black & I don't drink the stuff. (horrors I know)

Loading the drinks on the sea pass cards was one of the better post Covid changes RC has made only bested by the new lifejacket safety briefing protocol.

The best part about the Diamond Lounge to me is the outdoor deck behind it when it's up by the Viking Crown Lounge. A great place to sit and read in the afternoon.

Big part of what I had in mind when I mentioned liking the DL a lot more when it's up there and not in the basement. Definitely a nice quiet outdoor spot to spend doing whatever.

My wife and I will be there.  It's our first cruise and our 20th wedding anniversary.  We are so excited to finally get our first big trip away in almost 2 decades.  🙂

FYI they usually already put extra cushioning on the beds in suites on all the ships, it isn’t necessary to request it (at least for the 8 years or so we have sailed with RCCL).

They are definitely some people like that. The first cruise that we ever took on Royal after we had been cruising Norwegian we met a couple in the coastal kitchen day 1 of the cruise. We saw them a number of times after that and over that week the wife must have said “Diamond Plus” 10 million times (and we definitely knew every possible benefit that came with being a diamond plus before the week was done because she mentioned them all a few times). 🤣

If you don't have a travel agent (or even if you do and just want to do it yourself, which is what I do), you can fill out this online form for your CPAP requests.

We are sailing on the same cruise, also in a balcony cabin, and I also use a CPAP.  My TA noted this when making our reservations and included it on our travel documents.
If I were you, I would have your TA contact RC Special Needs Dept and request an extension cord and distilled water be provided to your room for both of your CPAPs.
I read somewhere that there is an outlet located under the bed which is the perfect place to plug in the cord for your CPAPS.

The best excursion that we ever had was one through https://www.thenativechoice.com in Costa Maya. At the time it was billed as a cultural experience (dinner with a Mayan family) plus the Chacchoben ruins, but that exact one no longer exists. A lot of their staff are current and former educators. It was just wonderful and I would highly recommend any tour that they offer. There is currently one called “Mayan Family + Seven Color Lagoon Tour” and also “Chacchoben Ruins Tour.”
We also love Jaime’s Blue Reef in Costa Maya since we have now done a lot of the tours because we’ve been to Costa Maya so much. It is in a more rural part of Mexico, but not very far from the port. It is a small, all-inclusive with super friendly staff (shout out to Digby). But, you do need a reservation. http://www.jaimesbluereef.com  (Royal Caribbean blog also recently posted its own review of Jaime’s).
In Cozumel, we have done Mr. Sanchos many times and can *no longer* recommend it. The food and drinks are now more like fast food, it is too crowded, and the service is fair to poor. Nachi Cocom is highly rated and what we have reserved for an upcoming West Carib cruise.

We prefer Mexico to many of the Caribbean islands, I think you’ll enjoy it!

One can only hope that by the time any of us get there those name tags have evolved beyond the “hotel check-in staff” styling!

😳 They earned it, they should definitely spend it.  Their kids may well be making far more money than they ever did (unless they are in the top .00000001% of course). We love our kids and there will be plenty for them no doubt, but there is no goal for that other than to have comfortable and happy twilight years that we worked hard for over 50 years to have 👍🏼  😊

My in-laws are very into status. They constantly brag about being D+ and are super impressed when they meet Pinnacle members. So I like to wear my Platinum pin when we go to the MDR with them so that I can wow them. 😂😂😂

We have all of the pins up to diamond.  Never wore them.
I've always thought it was a strange thing to be proud of my status. Wearing it  on your sleeve shouts "look at me! I've spent my kids inheritance and a bunch of time on a cruise ship!"
We cruise because we enjoy it. We enjoy the perks of our status, but never think of it as something to put on display.

I got all my pins up to Diamond, making D+ in Jan, but they are still in the thing they came in. I am indifferent either way, wear them or don't.
My issue is the people who throw their status around: i.e. "I am diamond do this, give me that, pledge your soul.......etc." My last cruise had about 5 pins, they were are pretty nice and they all wore their pins. People would indeed come up to them.......but people would also come up to me and ask questions. Lots of newbies would ask what "diamond prime" means when they read my seapass card.

I just checked again to be sure, but our app shows it correctly as being now Adventure out of Port Canaveral. With other app issues, people often find it useful to delete the Royal app and reinstall it. Hopefully that will fix the problem!
