Mljstr got a reaction from Mark_A in Fully covered shoes in the windjammer
And last cruise I was on, I saw a woman in the Windjammer in her bikini carrying her coverup. I didn’t notice her shoes ?

I am sure this is a punctuation issue. It should read: “fully covered; shoes and shirts required. “
???

Mljstr got a reaction from Neesa in My time dining ruined?
We do MyTime dining but haven't cruised since Covid. We depart January 30 on Radiance for 10 nights. Earliest dining every night was 7:00.. Before Mytime we had several uncomfortable or poor dining experiences with the table mates ...A table of constant. complainers, a table of old, hard of hearing complainers, a table of a family who only wanted chicken wings every night, a family of 8 and we were the 2 outsiders, etc. etc. etc. For MyTime we requested a table for 2 and were very happy. Now I am concerned that MyTime will be a bust if we have to wait a long time and possibly be seated with strangers who are not a good match. We have done 20 RCCL cruises so we are not newbies.

I am currently on Explorer and if you order a Diamond drink you don't get charged anything. You can choose to leave a tip or not.

Mljstr got a reaction from rjweber3 in Tips for Elderly
I don't want to scare you out of taking your grandmother, but be aware that the ships are moving vessels. We have been on many many cruises when passengers, especially elderly ones with walking issues, have fallen and had to be airlifted to land because they have broken limbs or hips. Also, keep in mind that the ports you are visiting are most likely not ADA modified. We discovered that on a recent trip to the UK-lots of steps, rocky or brick uneven walking paths, bathrooms up or down stairs without handicapped toilets. Do your research and consider staying in and enjoying the ship on port days.

My cancellation email also came last night.

Mljstr reacted to Cherry in They are waiting until the last minute to cancel cruising from April 11th onward...
If RC really value there customers surely they will give a bit more notice this time of an extension to the suspension ! Our flights have already been cancelled and coming from the uk we can’t even enter the states . Many Caribbean islands have also closed their doors to cruises ... don’t know about you guys but I don’t fancy floating at sea for 10 days with no port calls !

All kidding aside and, as much as I'd love it if none of this had transpired, I think this entire pandemic has taken the proverbial wind out of a lot of our sails...no pun intended, lol.
I just cannot imagine that cruising will be carefree and fun, like it should be, for many months to come. They need to cancel at least 30 to 60 more days to allow the overall panic and fear to die down. It certainly won't within the next two to three weeks, that is for sure.

@Michael B. I agree with you! We are booked on a Transatlantic from Cape Liberty to Southampton, UK, departing April 12. The entire UK is buttoned down today. The entire NY area is a "hotbed." Hotels and flights closed and canceled. I am waiting for a cancellation. I am sure they want to use my money for as long as possible-but in this economy and circumstance so do I!

Mljstr reacted to CruzOnBye in How I'll Cruise Differently After Covid-19
I will never book again without a travel agent! I do believe the amount of time and effort and stress my husband and I dealt with and spent over the phone would’ve been alleviated had we had a TA. Lesson learned. But we will truly value and appreciate the TA in the future knowing what they deal with!

Yes, my change is I will never book an inside cabin no matter how cheap it is! Just the thought of a possible quarantine in an inside cabin scares me?
