Suzanne got a reaction from Big Tule in Coffee cards
The last time I bought mine it was, but I have heard people say differently. I bought one for my upcoming Harmony cruise.

Suzanne reacted to SweetHomeLady in Cruise Kit - what's in yours?
I take a mini medicine kit. One plastic sleeve each of Benadryl, anti-diarrheal, mucinex, ex-lax, Sudafed, Pepto-Bismol tablets, etc. A few band-aids, small tube of Neosporin. Much cheaper and more convenient to have it if needed. I also take a mini can of Lysol in case one of us gets sick, we can manage the germs to protect the other. I also put two Clorox wipes in a Ziploc bag and wipe down the entire cabin first thing, just in case.

We took a direct hit from Hurricane Harvey and it was a sneeze compared to Dorian.
I still get little bouts of PTSD when thunderstorms come through. I can only imagine the horror of being on an island that is literally coming apart and flooding all around you. I remember how St Maarten and Puerto Rico looked close to a year after Maria and Irma. Heartbreaking.

Suzanne got a reaction from Wendylee in Cococay - Cat 5..
Not looking good for the Bahamas. That storm is a monster. We are supposed to go to Coco Cay the first week in October. I’m glad to hear they evacuated the island.
Prayers for those in the path.....

God help them! I have seen a few twitter videos on Abaco and its not even over yet and the damage and tidal surge is absolutely crazy! My heart and prayers definitely go out to those families impacted, and I hope that nobody looses their life in this storm.

After watching the videos coming in on twitter from people in the storm on Marsh Island and Abaco, where it made a direct hit...
Id be VERY surprised if Coco Cay is still standing after tomorrow.

Suzanne got a reaction from Kirsten in Solarium Bistro
This is one of my favorite places to eat. If you get tired of the heavy high calorie meals....this place is for you.
They serve things like grilled fish, vegetarian items, lots of veggies. Think spa food.
I also saw the charge is zero on the cruise planner. I wanted to make reservations but I’ve been u able to find any link to do so..
They also serve lunch.

Suzanne reacted to Blulady in Most useful (but not important) carry on item
Blistex (or some other type of chapstick). My lips can get dried out in a hot climate just as bad as they can in winter!

Suzanne got a reaction from Pro24 in Helpful Links
It could, but it’s a pain taking your seapass in and out all the time. Try the ones that have the hook. You can have a hole punched into the corner of your card and just clip it to the lanyard. That way you don’t have to keep removing It from the plastic.

Suzanne got a reaction from delerium98 in Where to get an adult coffee
Yum!!! I’m not a big drinker, and I love my coffee. I’m trying som of these for sure on Harmony.
i do remember one cruise we were in the big theater and I was FREEZING! I ordered an Irish Coffee.....it was so strong it was like moonshine! I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to drink it, or light it on fire for warmth! ?

I love love love those luggage tags. I remember the old days when you had to cover them with packing tape to make sure they did t tear off your bags in transit.

Suzanne reacted to Jicko in Where to get an adult coffee
Cafe P has liq for coffees. I had probably 15+ of them hot and cold and frap last week on LOS.
One tips tho, for fraps, ask them to put the liq directly into the cup rather than put it in the blender (most of the time they over blend and some liquor leftover being thrown away).

Yes, Harmony sells them in the Cafe Promenade

Suzanne reacted to AshleyDillo in Happy Hour in Specialty Restaurants
Wonderland on Harmony and Symphony have the bar separate and you are welcome to visit it and try some of their specialty cocktails!
Hooked on Symphony has a bar that is in the restaurant. It has seating and you should be able to sit there and get drinks without a reservation.
Sabor's bar on Harmony was open to everyone and you could order the restaurant's specialty margaritas at that bar.

Suzanne reacted to twangster in Empress turned around from San Juan
Sadly I think Old San Juan and the area near it should be avoided right now, until the civil unrest is over.
Freedom uses the PanAmerican terminal away from OSJ on the other side of the harbor so I could see embarking/debarking going normally as long as you don't try to visit OSJ. Stay in or near your hotel, avoid OSJ and go to the ship. When debarking just go to the airport.
Hopefully though the protests will end soon so it won't be a problem to experience a normal OSJ visit.
The same could be said when Barcelona had some unrest in year's past.

Suzanne reacted to AshleyDillo in Favorite Ports Without Excursions?
Costa Maya..the port area is massive and although it's a very theme park-ified version of a port, there is a lot to keep you entertained within the confines of it including a pool. It is also extremely easy to walk through the port to the taxi area and for $4 per person take a tram shuttle ride to Mahahual where you can walk the boardwalk along the beach and grab drinks or some food at any of the beachfront restaurants or resorts. Then just hop a taxi back to the port when you're done.

Suzanne reacted to WAAAYTOOO in Roatan Delemma
Maybe I am just old and tired but there is no way that I would book more than 1 excursion per day. I say choose one...but that's just me.
