    Very pro vaccinated cruises!

As for masks, can survive walking around / to dinner. But I will not wear one in the pool deck watching my daughter swim etc. Just doesn't seem like something I would enjoy and especially not something I want to pay $$$$ to do.

In new reports the CDC mention that after 1st dose it reduces the risk by 80% and that after 2nd dose the risk involved is reduced by 90% ..so in other words there is still a 10% risk of transmitting virus to someone else.

The risk involved to children is apparently a lot less however children are not immune for virus and as reported in Feb this year the figure for child mortality in US due to covid is round about 250...

So as a parent or grandparent whats more important your childs saftey or your comfort?

Theres no debate to this and anyone who tries to justify putting their or anyone else's children at risk doesnt .......will stop here as i would probably be banned for what i really want to say

We could get into a long argument and throw numbers around but I'm just going to go with what % is "good enough" ... nothing in life is 100%.

Wouldnt be a long argument...people ask and complain about the fact as to why RC are implementing the wearing of masks even when vaccine has been given...answer because its not 100% safe and they have to protect those that cruise....simple .....The End

And therefore we should be rewarded with cruising! ?

Those damn airplanes keep bringing the infected home, that’s way more of a risk as it’s jumped hotel quarantine through the hotel workers many times.

Theres no reason why a cruiseline couldnt homeport at Sydney, spend 2 weeks with crew onboard in quarantine then allow Australian Residents on for cruises around Oz.

    No foreigners or Non Residents

I mean you guys have had fans in stadiums watching sports for ages now ( a lot more than would be on a cruiseship ) so your getting it right

It surprises me that Royal haven't worked with the Australian authorities to launch local cruises for Australians as they have done in Singapore. The country has a very low incidence of Covid and you'd imagine there would be enough interest from Austrailian cruisers to make it worthwhile.

Are Royal missing a trick, as they seem to be in the UK?

Not RC but cruiselines in General have held discussions for the last 6 months about restarting domestic cruises.

Do you guys in the US not have an equivalent to Trading Standards?  If they publish something, they have to honour it (mistake or not), otherwise it's false advertising...

False advertising yes, have to honour it no!

    Uk Consumer laws are

Legally if an item is marked at wrong price until such time as goods have been paid for and are in the hands of purchaser any agreement to sell can be cancelled.

Its like the Scottish Bank note not being classed as legal tender in England even though it has Sterling on it.

Scottish money is NOT legal tender in England just as English money is NOT legal tender in Scotland!

Legal Tender is WHATEVER the seller decides he wants for an item. If a shopkeeper decides he wants 50 goldfish for 1Lb of steak then thats what you have to pay because thats the tender he wants, just as shops dont have to sell items mark wrongly, they can just remove from shelf however most will honour it.

Just crossed my mind that U.S. citizens are not allowed into Europe. Has that changed???

    https://travel.usnews.com/features/where-can-americans-travel-right-now

Heres a link for numerous counties including ones in Europe that US Citizens can travel to.

Obviously for any American who wants to travel they would have to make sure the country they flew into wasnt on Cyprus blacklist.
